Keiko Kitagawa cast in movie “The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window”

Keiko Kitagawa is cast for a special appearance in live-action film “The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window” starring Masaki Okada, Jun Shison, & Yurina Hirate. The film is based on manga series “Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru” by Tomoko Yamashita and directed by Yukihiro Morigaki. For the film, Keiko Kitagawa will play Attorney Keiko. She is placed under a curse by female high school student Erika Hiura (Yurina Hirate). 

“The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window” will be released January 22, 2021 in Japan.

Teaser trailer #2 for KBS2 drama series “Hello? It’s Me!”

New teaser trailers added for KBS2 drama series “Hello? It’s Me!” (literal title) starring Choi Gang-Hee, Kim Young-Kwang, & Lee Re. One version features Choi Gang-Hee as Ban Ha-Ni and the other features Lee Re as 17-year-old Ban Ha-Ni. The Lee Re teaser begins with her stating “17-year-old I, who was full of dreams and hope, met myself of 20 years later who became a squid.” The Choi Gang-Hee teaser begins with her stating “I of 20 years ago came to today’s me, who had no dreams, goals, or hope.” Below are two new teaser posters for the drama series.

“Hello? It’s Me!” first airs February 17, 2021 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Weds. & Thurs. 9:30 PM time slot after “Cheat On Me If You Can“).

Main trailer for movie “Space Sweepers”

Main trailer added for movie “Space Sweepers” starring Song Joong-Ki, Kim Tae-Ri, & Jin Seon-Kyu. The sci-fi film revolves around crew members of Spaceship Victory. They are Captain (Kim Tae-Ri), Pilot Tae-Ho (Song Joong-Ki), Tiger Park (Jin Seon-Kyu) and robot (Yu Hae-Jin). They make money by collecting space garbage, but they come across a robot that is wanted by the entire universe.

Due to the corona virus outbreak, which delayed the theatrical release date for “Space Sweepers” several times, the film will have a straight to Netflix world premiere on February 5, 2021.

Mun Ka-Young offered lead role in tvN drama “Link: Eat and Love To Kill”

Mun Ka-Young has been offered the lead female role in tvN drama series “Link: Eat and Love To Kill” (literal title). Actor Kim Sun-Ho has already received an offer to play the lead male role. Currently, both Mun Ka-Young and Kim Sun-Ho are considering their offers. The drama series features a script that has elements of fantasy, romance, and mystery genres. The drama series will be directed by No Sang-Hoon and scripted by Kwon Ki-Young. They previously worked together in 2015 MBC drama series “Hello Monster” starring Seo In-Guk & Jang Na-Ra.

“Link: Eat and Love To Kill” will air sometime this year in South Korea.

Supporting cast & release date for movie “The Great Yokai War: Guardians”

First group of supporting cast members announced for movie “The Great Yokai War: Guardians” starring Kokoro Terada, Hana Sugisaki, and Takao Osawa. Now cast in the film are Nao OmoriSakura AndoKoji OokuraTakahiro Miura, and Yuko Oshima. Photos of the 5 newly announced supporting cast members are above. They all play good yokai and they don’t like to fight against humans. They hope to coexist with humans.

“The Great Yokai War: Guardians” is now set for release summer, 2021 in Japan.

Terunosuke Takezai & Win Morisaki cast in WOWOW drama “1 Year of Meeting 70 People …”

Terunosuke Takezai and Win Morisaki are cast in WOWOW drama series “1 Year of Meeting 70 People Through Online Dating & Recommending Books That Suits Them” (literal title) starring Miori Takimoto. The drama series revolves around a bookstore manager who meets people from an online dating website and recommends books to them. The screenplay is based on essay “Deaikei Site de 70 nin to Jissaini Atte Sono Hito ni Ai Sona Hon wo Susume Makutta 1 nen no Koto” by Nanako Hanada.

For the drama series, Terunosuke Takezai will play Ken. He is married to main character Nanako Hanada (Miori Takimoto), but they are on the verge of getting a divorce.  Win Morisaki will play Endo. He works as a videographer and meets Nanako Hanada through the online dating website. They begin to meet regularly.

“1 Year of Meeting 70 People Through Online Dating & Recommending Books That Suits Them” will air from February 26, 2021 in Japan.
