Lee Seo-Jin & Ra Mi-Ran cast in TVING drama “Internist Park Won-Jang”

Lee Seo-Jin and Ra Mi-Ran are cast in TVING drama series “Internist Park Won-Jang” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic Naegwa Parkwonjang” by Jang Bong-Soo. The webcomic is based on the personal experience of Jang Bong-Soo as he worked as a doctor for 18 years. The drama series will follow Lee Seo-Jin as he portrays internal medicine physician Park Won-Jang. He struggles to save his clinic. He is married to Sa Mo-Rim, who is played by Ra Mi-Ran.

“Internist Park Won-Jang” will stream from TVING sometime later this year.

Hidetoshi Nishijima, Rie Miyazawa, and Kyoko Yoshine are cast in NTV drama series “Real Criminal Flag” (literal title of “Shinhannin Flag”). The drama series is scripted by Minato Takano (“Kakegurui“) and directed by Noriyoshi Sakuma, Satoru Nakajima, Naoko Komuro. “Real Criminal Flag” is also planned to have 2 seasons, with season 1 airing from October, 2021 and season 2 airing from January, 2022.

Haru Kuroki and Yosuke Sugino are cast in TV Tokyo-Amazon Prime Video drama series “My Sister” (literal title). The drama series is based on manga series “Boku no Neechan” by Miri Masuda. Haru Kuroki and Yosuke Sugino will play siblings who live together. After work, they get together and talk about various things.

“My Sister” will stream on Amazon Prime Video from September, 2021 and will air on TV Tokyo sometime during 2022.

Gackt & Fumi Nikaido cast in movie “Fly Me To The Saitama II”

Gackt & Fumi Nikaido are cast in sequel live-action film “Fly Me To The Saitama II” (working title). The film follows 2019 movie “Fly Me To The Saitama,” which starred Gackt and Fumi Nikaido. Director Hideki Takeuchi and screenwriter Yuichi Tokunaga also return to work on the sequel film. The 2019 movie “Fly Me To The Saitama” is based on manga series “Tonde Saitama” by Mineo Maya.

“Fly Me To The Saitama II” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Noise”

Teaser trailer and poster added for live-action film “Noise” starring Tatsuya Fujiwara, Kenichi Matsuyama, & Ryunosuke Kamiki. Movie is based on manga series “Noise” by Tetsuya Tsutsui (“Prophecy“) and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki. In addition, actor Daichi Watanabe is cast for the character of Mutsuo Omisaka. His character is an ex-prisoner and psychopath killer. Caption on the teaser poster states “Killed. Buried. If we get caught, we’re screwed.”

“Noise” will be released January 28, 2022 in Japan.
