Main trailer and poster added for movie “Moonlight Shadow” starring Nana Komatsu & Hio Miyazawa. Movie is based on short story “Moonlight Shadow” by Banana Yoshimoto (“Argentine Baba“). In addition, newly announced supporting actors for the film are Himi Sato, Nana Nakahara, Aoi Yoshikura, Seiya Nakano and Asami Usuda.
“Moonlight Shadow” will be released September 10, 2021 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Satsuki’s (Nana Komatsu) lover Hitoshi (Hio Miyazawa) dies suddenly. She is unable to get over his death and is mired in deep sadness. Satsuki keeps thinking about the moon shadow phenomenon, which she heard about in the past. The moon shadow phenomenon is a mysterious event that allows a person to meet the dead at the end of a full moon.
