Lee Da-Hee, Cha Eun-Woo, & Sung Joon are cast in OCN drama series “Island” co-starring Kim Nam-Gil. For Lee Da-Hee, she will play lead female character Won Mi-Ho. Cha Eun-Woo will play Catholic Priest John and Sung Joon will play Gungtan. The drama series is set on Jeju Island and follows three people as they fight against evil.
Filming for “Island” will begin October, 2021 and the drama series will air sometime in the first half of 2022.

Trailer added for movie “The Sound of Grass” starring Masahiro Higashide & Nao. Movie is based on 1982 novel “Kimi no Tori wa Utaeru” by Yasushi Sato (“Sketches of Kaitan City“) and directed by Hisashi Saito (“There’s Nothing to Be Afraid of“). The film follows a man who returns to his hometown with his hometown due to a health condition.

New OCN drama series “Chimera,” starring Park Hae-Soo, Lee Hee-Jun, & Soo-Hyun, is now set to first air October 30, 2021 in South Korea. The drama series will air Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 PM. The last drama series to air in that time slot was “Dark Hole.” “Chimera” will air as a completed pre-production.

Kang Hae-Lim’s prior acting experience includes JTBC drama series “Live On” and she will play app developer Sum, who is the lead female character.

Nana Komatsu and Kentaro Sakaguchi are cast in movie “The Last 10 Years.” The film is based on 2007 novel “Yomei 10 Nen” by Ruka Kosaka and directed by Michihito Fujii (“The Brightest Roof in the Universe“). The novel is “inspired” by the true story of its author Ruka Kosaka, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 38. Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer and poster has been added on AsianWiki. The teaser trailer begins with Kentaro Sakaguchi’s stating “She lives her last 10 years like the beginning of her life.”

Jun Matsumoto is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Neighbor Chikara” (literal title of “Tonari no Chikara”). The drama series is scripted and directed by Kazuhiko Yukawa (“Yayoi, March: 30 Years That I Loved You“). For the drama series, Jun Matsumoto will play main character Chikara Nakagoshi. He is a married parent and a writer, but he also loves to help people.
