Air date set for SBS drama “Human From Today”

Release date set for SBS drama series “Human From Today” starring Kim Hye-Yoon & Lomon. The fantasy/romantic-comedy drama series is now set to air from January 16, 2026, taking over SBS’ Friday and Saturday 9:50 time slot from “Taxi Driver 3.” Meanwhile, photos were released of the first script reading for “Human From Today” that took place on September 28, 2024. Attending the first script reading were Kim Hye-Yoon, Lomon, Lee Si-Woo, Jang Dong-Joo, Choi Seung-Yoon, In Gyo-Jin, Lee Seung-Joon, Hong Soo-Hyun, Yu Hwan, Kim Tae-Jung, Ji Seung-Jun, & Kim Tae-Hee. According to the production team of the drama series, they stated that there are many stories based on the gumiho folklore, but “Human From Today” will provide its own unique and fun spin, with an original setting and world view. Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Eun-Ho (Kim Hye-Yoon) is a gumiho, known in folklore as a mythical creature with 9 tails. She is different from other gumihos. She doesn’t want to become a human unlike other gumbos. She enjoys her eternal youth that never changes. She picks out the fun parts in the human world and enjoys them herself. To avoid becoming a human, she refrains from small virtues and accumulating small bad deeds. One day, an unexpected incident takes place.

Kang Shi-Yeol (Lomon) is a world-class soccer player. He is the top striker for a famous soccer club overseas. As a soccer player, he accomplished many firsts and he shines brighter than the club itself. He is also the king of narcissism. His life is perfect, but, one day, Eun-Ho appears in front him. His life suddenly changes.
