Masaki Okada, Tori Matsuzaka, & Yuya Yagira are cast in movie “We’re Millennials Got a Problem?: International.” The film is a sequel to 2016 NTV drama series “We’re Millennials Got a Problem?” and will have the same three lead actors reprising their respective roles from that drama series. Filming for the movie version took place from October to November, 2022 and directed by Nobuo Mizuta.
“We’re Millennials Got a Problem?: International” will be released October 13, 2023 in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Omae no Tsumi o Jihaku Shiro” starrung Kento Nakajima & Shinichi Tsutsumi. The mystery-suspense film is based on 2019 novel “Omae no Tsumi o Jihaku Shiro” by Yuichi Shinpo and directed by Nobuo Mizuta (“The Apology King“). Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Dark Rainbow” by rock duo B’z. The intro of that song plays during the teaser trailer.

Teaser poster and release date set for Wavve drama series “Park Ha-Kyung’s Travels” starring Lee Na-Young. The drama series will revolve around Lee Na-Young as title character Park Ha-Kyung. She works as a high school teacher and enjoys taking one day trips on Saturdays. Caption on the poster states “One day trip when I want to disappear.”

Lee Je-Hoon is cast in MBC drama series “Chief Detective 1963” (working & literal title). The drama series is set in the 1960’s and a prequel to MBC drama series “Chief Detective,” starring Choi Bul-Am, that aired from 1971 to 1989. Lee Je-Hoon will play main character Park Young-Han, who was played by Choi Bul-Am in the original drama series.
Air dates for “Chief Detective 1963” has not yet been decided, but filming will begin in the second half of this year.

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Delightfully Deceitful” (English title) starring Chun Woo-Hee & Kim Dong-Wook. The teaser trailer begins with Chun Woo-Hee as Lee Ro-Woom standing in front of a burning bungalow. She is sentenced to 15 years in prison, but then recieves a not guilty judgement. At the 20 second mark, Chun Woo-Hee states “Revenge is always justice,” followed by Kim Dong-Wook stating “So are you going to kill people?” Chun Woo-Hee around the 26 second mark then states “They are alive, still.” Caption around the 18 second mark states “Over-empathic lawyer meets a suspicious client.”

Jang Dong-Yoon and Lee Joo-Myoung are cast for lead roles in new drama series “Flowers Bloom Even in the Sand” (working literal title). The drama series is a romantic-comedy revolving around the traditional Korean wrestling sport of ssireum. Also cast in the drama series are Yun Jong-Seok, Kim Bo-Ra, Lee Jae-Joon, & Lee Joo-Seung.
“Flowers Bloom Even in the Sand” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Trailer and two special posters released for tvN drama series “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” starring Lee Dong-Wook, Kim So-Yeon, & Kim Beom. The trailer begins with Lee Dong-Wook stating “I am Lee Yeon. I am a hero of this era, but,” and this is followed by Kim Jung-Nan commanding him to “Find the guardian stone and come back with it.” Captions in the trailer states (0:0i8) “Returned nine tailed fox,” and (0:12) “Crash land to year 1938.”

Movie is based on manga series “Mystery to Iu Nakare” by Yumi Tamura and follows 2022 Fuji TV drama series “Don’t Call it Mystery.” At the 8 second mark of the teaser trailer, Nanoka Hara as Shioji Kariatsumari states “Our inheritance always results in fighting and it ends up with some people dying.”

Jin Sun-Kyu, Kang Ki-Young, Kim Hieora, & Yoo In-Soo are cast in tvN drama series “The Uncanny Counter 2” starring Joe Byeong-Gyu. All of the newly announced cast members will play new supporting role characters for the sequel drama series. Jin Sun-Kyu will play Firefighter Joo-Seok. He saved the life of So Mun’s (Joe Byeong-Gyu). Kang Ki-Young and Kim Hieora will play villains Pil-Gwang and Gelly. Pil-Gwang has extreme power and dreams of becoming the apex predator. Gelly is pure evil. Meanwhile, Yoo In-Soo will play Jeok-Bong. He will beome a new member of the counter team.
