Main trailer and poster for movie “The Dry Spell”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “The Dry Spell” starring Toma Ikuta. The film follows Shunsaku Iwakiri (Toma Ikuta) who works for the city water company. His job is to shut off the water or collect late payment from businesses and residential customers. The movie’s theme song has also been announced as “Kassui” by Shutoku Mukai, which is played in the main trailer as well. Newly announced supporting cast members for the film are Ryubi Miyase, Ken Yoshizawa, Atsushi Shinohara, Rie Shibata, Yoshiyuki Morishita, Yoji Tanaka, and Gitan Otsuru.

“The Dry Spell” will be released June 2, 2023 in Japan.

Teaser poster and release date set for Disney+ drama “Race”

Teaser poster and release date set for Disney+ drama series “Race” starring Lee Yeon-Hee, Hong Jong-Hyun, Moon So-Ri, and U-Know Yunho. The teaser poster features the four leads who work for a PR agency. Lee Yeon-Hee’s Park Yoon-Zo gets involved in a recruitment scandal at the company. Caption on the teaser poster states “We are invincible K-office workers.”

“Race” will be available to stream from May 10, 2023.

Teaser trailer 2 added for KBS2 drama series “Run Into You” starring Kim Dong-Wook & Jin Ki-Joo. The second teaser trailer for the mystery, time-travel themed drama series has Kim Dong-Wook stating “We have just arrived in the year 1987 and there’s no way to go back. We’re stuck here.” Below are still images of Kim Dong-Wook and Jin Ki-Joo in the drama series.

“Run Into You” first airs May 1, 2023 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday & Tuesday 9:50 PM time slot after “Oasis“).

Uee cast in KBS2 drama “Self-Reliance of Hyo-Sim’s Family”

Uee is cast for the lead role in KBS2 drama series “Self-Reliance of Hyo-Sim’s Family” (literal title). For the drama series, Uee will play title character Lee Hyo-Sim. She was been the bread winner for her family after her father left their family when she was young. She works as a fitness instructor in Gangnam. Lee Hyo-Sim then meets a man and tries to become more independent from her family. Actor Ha-Joon has been offered the lead male role and he is currently considering the offer.

“Self-Reliance of Hyo-Sim’s Family” will first air September, 2023 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday & Sunday 8PM time slot after “The Real Has Come“).

Trailer added for Netflix drama series “The Days” starring Koji Yakusho & Yutaka Takenouchi. Captions in the trailer at the 22 second mark states “Were the days fate?” and 25 second mark “Or fault?” The drama series is set over a 7 day period at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power, following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit the area on March 11, 2011.

“The Days” will be available to stream from June 1, 2023 on Netflix.

Main trailer added for movie “Dream” starring Park Seo-Joon & IU. Movie is written and directed by Lee Byeong-Hun (“Extreme Job“). The trailer shows Park Seo-Joon as hot tempered professional soccer play Yoon Hong-Dae. He gets into trouble after hitting a reporter. To repair his image, he takes part in a documentary produced by Lee So-Min (IU). Yoon Hong-Dae ends up coaching a team of homeless people for the Homeless World Cup. Oji Suzuka cast in TBS drama “Sweet Moratorium”

Oji Suzuka is cast in TBS drama series “Sweet Moratorium.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Sweet Moratorium” by Tamaizumi. In “Sweet Moraturium,” Oji Suzuka will play university student Kokoro Kashiwagi. His ex-girlfriend begins to live with him, but he doesn’t tell his new girlfriend about her.

“Sweet Moratorium” will first air May 23, 2023 in Japan.
