Ren Meguro & Hayato Sano are cast in TBS live-action drama series “Trillion Game.” The drama series is based on manga series “Trillion Game” by written by Riichiro Inagaki & Ryoichi Ikegami. The business oriented drama series will follow two young men who start a business in pursuit of earning a trillion dollars. Ren Meguro will play lead character Haru Tennoji and Hayato Sano will play his partner Manabu Taira.
“Trillion Game” first airs July, 2023 in Japan (takes over TBS’ Friday 10PM time slot after “Pending Train“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Haru Tennoji (Ren Meguro) is an excellent communicator. He is loved by all people regardless of age or gender. He appears like an easy going person, but he is actually ambitious and will do anything for success. Haru Tennoji is offered a job with the nation’s largest IT company Dragon Bank, but he turns down their offer. Instead, Haru Tennoji decides to start his own business with his friend Manabu Taira (Hayato Sano). His goal is to earn 1 trillion dollars. Meanwhile, Manabu Taira is an excellent engineer with remarkable IT knowledge. Personality wise, he is quite the opposite from Haru Tennoji. Manabu Taira is passive and has a hard time communicating with people. Due to that, he failed his job interview with Dragon Bank,. Manabu Taira joins Haru Tennoji’s goal of earning 1 trillion dollars.
