Hokuto Matsumura and Daigo Nishihata cast in TV Asahi drama “Knockin’ on Locked Door”

Hokuto Matsumura and Daigo Nishihata are cast for co-lead roles in TV Asahi drama series “Knockin’ on Locked Door.” The drama series is based on novel series “Knockin’ on Locked Door” by Yugo Aosaki. In “Knockin’ on Locked Door,” Hokuto Matsumura and Daigo Nishihata will play partner private detectives who have different personalities and investigative methods.

“Knockin’ on Locked Door” will first air July, 2023  in Japan (takes over TV Asahi’s Saturday 11PM time slot after “Kotaro Lives By Himself 2“).

Teaser trailer 3 for tvN drama series “Delightfully Deceitful” starring Chun Woo-Hee & Kim Dong-Wook. The drama series follows Lee Ro-Woom, a con woman driven by revenge, and Han Moo-Young, a hyper empathetic lawyer who cares for her. Ren Meguro  & Hayato Sano are cast in TBS live-action drama series “Trillion Game.” The drama series is based on manga series “Trillion Game” by written by Riichiro Inagaki & Ryoichi Ikegami. The business oriented drama series will follow two young men who start a business in pursuit of earning a trillion dollars. Ren Meguro will play lead character Haru Tennoji and Hayato Sano will play his partner Manabu Taira.

Launching teaser trailer and poster for sci-fi movie “The Moon” starring Sol Kyung-Gu, Do Kyung-Soo, & Kim Hee-Ae. The film, written and directed by Kim Yong-Hwa (“Along With the Gods“), revolves around an astronaut (Do Kyung-Soo) in outer space and a scientist (Sol Kyung-Gu) on Earth who tries to save him. First air date for tvN drama series “Useless Lies” (literal title), starring Kim So-Hyun & Minhyun, is now set to air July, 2023. The drama series will air in tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 10:50 PM time slot after the conclusion of “Delightfully Deceitful.” Meanwhile, the first batch of supporting actors have been announced for the drama series and they are Yun Ji-On, Seo Ji-Hoon, & Lee Si-Woo. Yun Ji-On will play Jo Deuk-Chan. He is the CEO of J Entertainment. He led Kim Do-Ha (Minhyun) to become a songwriter and he cares about him like a real brother. Seo Ji-Hoon will play Detective Lee Gang-Min.. Lee Dong-Wook & Kim Hye-Jun are cast in Disney+ drama series “The Killer’s Shopping Mall.” The drama series is based on 2020 novel “Salinjaui Shoppingmall” by Kang Ji-Young and the screenplay adaptation was co-written by director Lee Kwon (“Door Lock“) and Ji Ho-Jin. The drama series will revolve around a mysterious shopping mall that was operated by Jung Ji-An’s (Kim Hye-Jun) uncle (Lee Dong-Wook).

“The Killer’s Shopping Mall” will be available to stream sometime next year.

Yosuke Sugino is cast in Fuji TV live-action drama series “Barakamon.” The drama series is based on manga series “Barakamon” by Satsuki Yoshino. In the drama series adaptation, Yosuke Sugino will play main character Seishu Handa. He is a calligrapher and moves to an island in the Goto Islands to practice his craft in solitude, but finds that his island neighbors are around all the time.
