First teaser trailer and poster added for ENA drama series “Lies Hidden In My Garden” starring Kim Tae-Hee & Lim Ji-Yeon. The drama series is based on novel 2018 novel “Madangyi Itneun Jib” by Kim Jin-Young. The teaser poster shows two women played by Kim Tae-Hee and Lim Ji-Yeon who seem to be completely different from each other, but share a similarity with each wearing the same scarf. Caption on the teaser poster states “Dead body smell comes from the garden.” Voices in teaser 1 states (0:03) Kim Tae-Hee “Don’t you smell something bad?” and (0:14) Lim Ji-Yeon “Have you ever killed anyone?”
“Lies Hidden In My Garden” first airs June 19, 2023 in South Korea (takes over ENA’s Monday & Tuesday 10 PM time slot after “Oh! Young-Sim“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Joo-Ran (Kim Tae-Hee) grew up in a wealthy family. She is now a housewife and married to Jae-Ho (Kim Sung-Oh), who works as a doctor. They live in a house with a yard. Joo-Ran is happy and lives an ideal life. Her peaceful daily life is abruptly shook when she notices a strange smell in her backyard. This leads to Joo-Ran eventually investigating her husband and meeting Sang-Eun (Lim Ji-Yeon). Sang-Eun lives a completely different life from Joo-Ran. She grew up in a poor environment and, even now, suffers from financial difficulties. She lives in a shabby rented apartment with her husband Yoon-Beom (Choi Jae-Rim). Yoon-Beom works for a pharmaceutical company. Sang-Eun is subject to domestic violence by her husband Yoon-Beom. Her life is completely miserable. One day, she receives a phone call that Yoon-Beom is dead.
