Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji cast in KBS2 drama “Fantasy Sonata”

Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji are cast in KBS2 drama series “Fantasy Sonata.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Hwansangyeonga” by Ban Ji-Woon, which is a fantasy-romance period story. For “Fantasy Sonata,” Park Ji-Hoon will play Crown Prince Sajo Hyun. He also has another personality as that of Ak-Hee. Hong Ye-Ji will play Yeon Wol. She is a member of an assassin group and seeks to kill the king to avenge her family’s deaths.

“Fantasy Sonata” first airs January, 2024 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday and Tuesday 9:50 PM time slot after “The Matchmakers“).

Launching teaser trailer and teaser posters added for movie “12.12: The Day” starring Hwang Jung-Min and Jung Woo-Sung. Movie is based on the true story of the “12.12 Military Insurrection.” The military coup occurred on December 12, 1979, in Seoul, South Korea. Jeon Doo-Gwang (Hwang Jung-Min), who heads the Defense Security Command and leads the secret military club Hanahoe, orders the arrest of a general suspected of conspiring to assassinate the prior president a few months earlier. Military battles ensued in the capital city that night.

“12.12: The Day” will be released November 22, 2023 in South Korea.

Park Bo-Young and Park Hyung-Sik to make cameo appearance in JTBC drama series “Strong Girl Nam-Soon” starring Lee Yoo-Mi. Park Bo-Young and Park Hyung-Sik will play their characters from 2017 JTBC drama series “Strong Girl Bong-Soon.” Their cameo scene will be set at a police station where Do Bong-Soon (Park Bo-Young) is being questioned by the police. An Min-Hyuk (Park Hyung-Sik) then rushes to the police station. Below are still images of that scene. Which episode this scene will appear has not yet been revealed.

Teaser poster and release date added for omnibus thriller film “New Normal” starring Choi Ji-Woo, Lee Yoo-Mi, Minho, & P.O. Movie is written and directed by Jung Bum-Sik (“Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum“). The film made its world premiere at the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival on July 17, 2022. The film takes place over a 4 day period and follows 6 people as they deal with their everyday fears.

Main trailer for movie “The Innocent Game”

Main trailer added for movie “The Innocent Game” starring Ren Nagase, Hana Sugisaki, & Takumi Kitamura. Movie is based on 2020 mystery novel “Houtei Yugi” by Ritsuto Igarashi and directed by Yoshihiro Fukagawa (“Sagrada Reset Part 1“). The trailer begins with Ren Nagase as law school student Kiyoyoshi Kuga stating “We expected this ending.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been announced as “Itoshi Ikiru Koto” by group King & Prince. The theme song is played during the main trailer.

Keito Tsuna is cast for the lead role in TBS drama series “Renai no Susume.” He will be joined by Kyoya Honda, Wataru Ichinose, and Jiei Wakabayashi in major supporting character roles. Story for “Renai no Susume” is a teen romantic-comedy set at a strict high school that forbids dating for their students. The script will have YouTuber Amemiya (Shotaro Mamiya) and Architect Kurihara (Jiro Sato) try to uncover the secret behind a floor plan for a mysterious home.
