Teaser poster and release date added for omnibus thriller film “New Normal” starring Choi Ji-Woo, Lee Yoo-Mi, Minho, & P.O. Movie is written and directed by Jung Bum-Sik (“Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum“). The film made its world premiere at the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival on July 17, 2022. The film takes place over a 4 day period and follows 6 people as they deal with their everyday fears.
“New Normal” will be released November, 2023 in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: People face their fears hidden in their everyday life and their fears become part of their routine. Hyun-Jung (Choi Ji-Woo) is a woman unable to smile. Hyun-Soo (Lee Yoo-Mi) is looking for a job and she wants to have a relationship. Hoon (Minho) is a lonely university student. Ki-Jin (P.O) gives up on getting a job and he is in a shameless romance. Yeon-Jin (Ha Da-In) is working part-time at a convenience store and she hates people. Seung-Jin (Jung Dong-Won) is a middle school student who dreams of becoming a hero. These six people are connected by different cases.
