Teaser trailer for JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now”

First teaser trailer for JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now” (literal title) starring Kim You-Jung and Yoon Gyun-Sang. The drama series is based on webcomic “Ildan Ddeugeobge Chungsohara” by Aaengo. “Clean With Passion For Now” was originally scheduled to air at the beginning of this year, but was delayed after Kim You-Jung was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Now that she has received treatment, “Clean With Passion For Now” will first air November 26, 2018 in South Korea.

Meanwhile, below is the first still images of Song Jae-Rim in the drama series. In the drama series, Song Jae-Rim plays Choi-gun. Choi-gun is an original character in the drama series and does not appear in the original webcomic. Choi-gun is a mysterious chap and nobody knows his full name or his actual job. He bickers with Gil O-Sol (Kim You-Jung), but he begins to support Gil O-Sol.

Teaser poster for KBS2 drama series “Feel Good To Die”

Teaser poster added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Feel Good To Die” (English title) starring Kang Ji-Hwan and Baek Jin-Hee. The drama series is based on webcomic webcomic “Jookeodo Joa” by Goldkiwisae and follows a secretary (Baek Jin-Hee) who goes back in time to save her boss after she wished he would die. Caption on the poster states in Korean “I will protect you without mercy … team leader!”

“Feel Good To Die” first airs November 7, 2018 in South Korea.

See list of nominees and winners at the 55th Daejong Film Awards

See the list of nominees and winners at the just concluded 55th Daejong Film Awards. Lee Chang-Dong‘s “Burning” won the “Best Film” award, while Jang Joon-Hwan received the “Best Director” award for “1987: When The Day Comes.” Hwang Jung-Min & Lee Sung-Min split the “Best Actor” award for their roles in “The Spy Gone North” and Na Moon-Hee won the “Best Actress” award for “I Can Speak.”

Teaser poster for movie “Swing Kids”

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming movie “Swing Kids” starring Do Kyung-Soo and Park Hye-Soo. The film is set in 1951, at a POW camp in South Korea. People there fall in love with tap dancing, including North Korean Rho Ki-Soo (Do Kyung-Soo). The film is written and directed by Kang Hyung-Chul (“Scandal Makers“/”Sunny“).

The teaser poster also reveals that “Swing Kids” will be released December, 2018 in South Korea.

Gong Yoo cast in movie “Kim Ji-Young Born 1982”

Gong Yoo cast in movie “Kim Ji-Young Born 1982” (literal title) co-starring Jung Yu-Mi. For those keeping count, Gong Yoo and Jung Yu-Mi previously starred in 2011 film “Silenced” and 2016 film “Train To Busan.” Both of those films were box office hits and critically acclaimed as well.

In movie “Kim Ji-Young Born 1982,” Gong Yoo will play Jung Dae-Hyun. He is married to title character Kim Ji-Young (Jung Yu-Mi). Filming for “Kim Ji-Young Born 1982” will start sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea. Movie is directed by Kim Do-Young. This is her first time as a movie director, but she has an extensive acting resume.

Teaser poster for movie “Unstoppable”

Here’s the first teaser poster for movie upcoming “Unstoppable” starring Ma Dong-Seok  and Song Ji-Hyo. The film has Ma Dong-Seok and Song Ji-Hyo playing a married couple. Ma Dong-Seok’s character is reformed gangster, but his wife gets kidnapped and he sets out to get her back.

“Unstoppable” will be released sometime this November, 2018 in South Korea. Ma Dong-Seok also has movie “The Neighbors” (literal title) tentatively scheduled for release this November as well.
