Teaser poster for movie “Witness”

First teaser poster added for upcoming movie “Witness” (literal title) starring Jung Woo-Sung and Kim Hyang-Gi. Caption on the teaser poster states in Korean “I met a girl with autism who is the only witness of the case.” Movie is directed by Lee Han (“Punch“).

In addition, the teaser poster reveals that the movie’s release date is set for February, 2019 in South Korea.

Concept visual and supporting cast for movie “Call”

Here’s a concept visual for upcoming movie “Call” starring Park Shin-Hye and Jun Jong-Seo. Story for the film revolves around a woman from the present day played by Park Shin-Hye and someone in the past played by Jun Jong-Seo connecting through a phone call.

In addition, supporting cast for the film has been added. Now cast in supporting roles are Kim Sung-Ryoung, Lee El, Park Ho-San, Oh Jung-Se and Lee Dong-Hwi.

Filming for movie “Call” will begin January, 2019.

Jung Woo cast in movie “Don’t Touch Dirty Money”

Jung Woo is cast in new movie “Don’t Touch Dirty Money” (literal title). The film is directed by Kim Min-Soo (screenwriter of “The Merciless“). In the film, Jung Woo will play detective Myung-Deuk. He comes across money belonging to a crime organization and is soon chased by the cops and the crime group over the money. Filming for “Don’t Touch Dirty Money” begins mid-December, 2018 in South Korea.

“Don’t Touch Dirty Money” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

English subtitled trailer for movie “Take Point”

English subtitled trailer added for movie “Take Point” starring Ha Jung-Woo and Lee Sun-Kyun.  In the film, Ha Jung-Woo plays a character that leads a U.S. mercenary group. They are hired by the CIA to enter a secret tunnel built by the North Koreans along the DMZ and take out a target there. The target turns out to be the North Korean leader. Several unexpected twists and surprises then occur. As per the trailer, Ha Jung-Woo speaks extensive English in the film. Movie is directed by Kim Byung-Woo (“The Terror Live“).

“Take Point” will be released December 26, 2018 in South Korea.

Lee Joon-Ho & Jung So-Min cast in movie “Gibang Bachelor”

Lee Joon-Ho (2PM) and Jung So-Min are cast for the lead roles in new movie “Gibang Bachelor” (literal title). The film is set during the Joseon period. For the film, Lee Joon-Ho will play Heo Saek. He becomes the first male gisaeng (courtesan) in Joseon. Jung So-Min will play Hae-Won. She falls in love with Heo Saek. The “Gibang” in the title refers to the place where gisaeng work. Filming for “Gibang Bachelor” begins December, 2018.

“Gibang Bachelor” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for movie “Malmoi”

First teaser trailer for movie “Malmoi” starring Yu Hae-Jin and Yoon Kye-Sang. Movie is directed by Uhm Yoo-Na (screenwriter for movie “A Taxi Driver“). The film is set in the 1940’s and follows two men who work together to publish a Korean dictionary. This was at a time when Korea was occupied by Japan and they could not speak Korean.

“Malmoi” will be released January, 2018 in South Korea.

Choi Si-Won cast in KBS2 drama series “Fellow Citizens”

Choi Si-Won is cast for the lead male role in new KBS2 drama series “Fellow Citizens” (literal title). The drama series will be scripted by Han Jung-Hoon (“Bad Guys “). In the drama series Choi Si-Won will play conman Yang Jung-Kook. He gets involved in a case and somehow ends up running for the national assembly. Genre for the drama series is crime-comedy-drama.

“Fellow Citizens” will first air March, 2019 (takes over KBS2’s Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot after “My Lawyer, Mr. Jo Season 2“).
