First teaser poster for JTBC drama series “A Virtuous Business” starring Kim So-Yeon, Yeon Woo-Jin, Kim Sung-Ryoung, Kim Sun-Young, & Lee Se-Hee. “A Virtuous Business” is set in a rural town in 1992, when four women begin selling adult toy products door-to-door. Caption on the poster states “How about this vibe?”

“A Virtuous Business” is now scheduled to first air this October in South Korea (takes over JTBC’s Saturday and Sunday 10:30 PM time slot after “Romance in the House“).

Kim Hye-Yoon & Lomon cast in SBS drama “Starting from Today, I’m Human”

Kim Hye-Yoon & Lomon are cast in SBS drama series “Starting from Today, I’m Human.” The drama series is scripted by Park Chan-Young & Jo A-Young and directed by Kim Jeong-Kwon (“Maestra: Strings of Truth“). “Starting from Today, I’m Human” is setup as a fantsy/romantic-comedy with Kim Hye-Yoon playing a quirky gumiho (fox with nine tails) named Eun-Ho. She doesn’t want to become human and enjoys being a gumiho. Lomon will play popular soccer star Kang Shi-Yeol. He gets a wish taken away.

“Starting from Today, I’m Human” first airs sometime next year in South Korea.

Main trailer and poster for Pt. 2 of TVING drama “Queen Woo”

Main trailer and poster added for Part 2 of TVING drama series “Queen Woo” starring Jun Jong-Seo, Kim Moo-Yul, and Ji Chang-Wook. The first four episodes were released August 29, 2024 and the last 4 episodes will be released September 12, 2024. The main trailer has Jung Jong-Seo as Queen Woo Hee stating (0:37) “I will no longer live like a chess piece,” and (0:48) “The fight is not for the owner of the throne. Teaser trailer 2 added for SBS drama series “The Judge from Hell” starring Park Shin-Hye and Kim Jae-Young. The second teaser trailer begins with Park Shin-Hye as Kang Bit-Na stating “Do you know why I like my job of being a criminal court judge? Because I get to meet a lot of bad people.” Around the 7 second mark Kim Jae-Young as Detective Han Da-On states “If justice is alive, I believe the law will protect me” and Kang Bit-Na states at the 10 second mark “Justice is dead.” Captions in the teaser trailer states (0:16) “When the human trial ends,” (0:27) “The real trial begins,” (0:47) “Shaking up human’s justice,” (0:57) “The devil’s justice.”

Hyun-Bin cast in Disney+ drama “Made in Korea”

Hyun-Bin is cast in Disney+ drama series “Made in Korea” co-starring Jung Woo-Sung. Also announced today for major supporting character roles are Won Ji-An, Seo Eun-Su, Cho Yeo-Jeong, & Jung Sung-Il. The drama series is directed by Woo Min-Ho (“Inside Men“) and “Made in Korea” will be his first time directing a drama series. For the drama series, Hyun-Bin will play Baek Ki-Tae. He is a highly ambitious man who is confronted by Prosecutor Jang Gun-Young (Jung Woo-Sung).

“Made in Korea” will be available to stream sometime next year.

First teaser trailer for JTBC drama “Family by Choice”

First teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “Family by Choice” starring Hwang In-Yeop, Jung Chae-Yeon, & Bae Hyun-Sung. The drama series, which is a remake of Chinese drama series “Go Ahead,” follows three young people who reunite after 10 years of being apart. The teaser trailer begins withYoon Joo-Won (Jung Chae-Yeon) making a group chat room and writing and deleting the name of the group chat room like “2+3=family” and “Special family plus romance.” She finally sets the name of the group chat room to “Family by Choice.” She invites 4 other people, even though they are not blood related, to join “Family by Choice.”

Drama series “Family by Choice” is now set to air from October 9, 2024 in South Korea. The drama series will air two consecutive episodes each Wednesday from 8:50 PM.

Teaser trailer and character posters added for Netflix drama series “Gyeongseong Creature 2” starring Park Seo-Jun & Han So-Hee. The drama series is a sequel to 2023 Netflix drama series “Gyeongseong Creature” and set in the present day this time around. The four character posters features Park Seo-Jun as Jang Ho-Jae, Han So-Hee as Yoon Chae-Ok, Lee Mu-Saeng as Captain, and Bae Hyun-Sung as Seung-Jo. Lee Mu-Saeng and Bae Hyun-Sung play new characters who did not appear in the first series.

“Gyeongseong Creature 2” will be released September 27, 2024.

Jin Young & Roh Jeong-Eui cast in Channel A drama “Witch”

Jin Young & Roh Jeong-Eui are cast in Channel A drama series “Witch” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic  “Manyeo” by Kang Pool (“Moving“). In “Witch,” Jin Young will play Dong-Jin who is statistician. He likes a woman named Mi-Jeong, played by Roh Jeong-Eui, who some people call a witch. Dong-Jin sets out to prove that Mi-Jeong is not a witch.

“Witch” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.

Park Ha-Na & Park Sang-Nam cast in KBS1 drama “Let’s Get Married, Maengkong”

Park Ha-Na & Park Sang-Nam are cast for lead roles in KBS1 drama series “Let’s Get Married, Maengkong” (literal title). Also cast in the weekday evening drama series are Kim Sa-Kwon, Lee Yeon-Doo, Park Tam-Hee, & Lee Eun-Hyung. The drama series, steeped in marriage themes, will follow Park Ha-Na as she plays Maeng Kong-Hee. She reunites with her childhood friend, Koo Dan-Soo played by Park Sang-Nam, at her place of work. He is the successor for that company.

“Let’s Get Married, Maengkong” first airs October, 2024 in South Korea (takes over KBS1’s Monday through Friday 8:30PM time slot after “Su-Ji and U-Ri“).
