Kim Soo-Hyun and Jo Bo-Ah cast in Disney+ drama “Knock Off”

Kim Soo-Hyun and Jo Bo-Ah are cast in Disney+ drama series “Knock Off.” Drama series is scripted by Han Jung-Hoon (“Song of the Bandits“) and directed by Park Hyun-Suk (“Stranger 2“). Kim Soo-Hyun will play Kim Seong-Jun. After the IMF crisis in 1997, Kim Seong-Jun goes from being a regular office worker to the global king in the counterfeit market. Jo Bo-Ah will play Song Hye-Jeong. She is Kim Seong-Jun’s ex-girlfriend and now works on busting counterfeit makers.

“Knock Off” will be available to stream sometime next year.

First teaser trailer added for ENA drama series “To My Haeri” (literal title) starring Shin Hae-Sun & Lee Jin-Uk. The teaser trailer shows Shin Hae-Sun playing the characters of Joo Eun-Ho & Joo Hye-Ri. They are the same person, but with different personalities. In the teaser trailer, Shin Hae-Sun asks “Burning up, everyday. I’m happy. I’m happy. Are you saying that I am the same person as this person?”

“To My Haeri” first airs September 23, 2024 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Dog Knows Everything” starring Lee Soon-Jae. The drama series is a comedy that revolves veteran actor Lee Soon-Jae (Lee Soon-Jae) and a former police dog named Sophie. Lee Soon-Jae somehow begins to understand the dog’s barking and they investigates incidents in the neighborhood.

“Dog Knows Everything” first airs September 25, 2024 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday and Thursday 9:50 PM time slot after “Perfect Family“).

Teaser posters for tvN drama “Jeong-Nyeon: The Star is Born”

Two teaser posters added for tvN drama series “Jeong-Nyeon: The Star is Born” starring Kim Tae-Ri, Shin Ye-Eun, & Ra Mi-Ran. The upcoming drama series is based on webcomic “Jeongnyeonyi” and is set in the 1950’s. Kim Tae-Ri plays title character Yoon Jeong-Nyeon, who tries to become a star. in the drama series. Caption on the first teaser poster states “The story of a brilliant singing performer who had endured a difficult world” and caption on the second teaser poster states “In the theater, which is an entirely different world, I want to become a star!”

Song Joong-Ki and Chun Woo-Hee cast in drama “My Youth”

Song Joong-Ki and Chun Woo-Hee are cast in new drama series “My Youth” (working title). Drama series will be scripted by Park Si-Hyun (“Run On“) and directed by Lee Sang-Yeob (“Yumi’s Cells“). The romance themed drama series will have Song Joong-Ki play Sun Woo-Hae. He was once a famous child actor, but he experienced dark times and now lives a quiet normal life. Chun Woo-Hee plays Sung Je-Yeon. She was the first love of Sun Woo-Hae as he was her first love. She now works for an entertainment company and is extremely career driven.

“My Youth” will air sometime next year, but broadcast network and OTT platforms has not yet been decided.

Teaser trailer for KBS2 drama “Iron Family”

First teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Iron Family” starring Kim Jung-Hyun & Keum Sae-Rok. The first teaser trailer has the two main characters of Seo Kang-Joo (Kim Jung-Hyun) and Lee Da-Rim (Keum Sae-Rok) passing each other at a crosswalk. The sound of Seo Kang-Joo flicking his lighter open and closed, causes the visually impaired Lee Da-Rim to momentarily stop. Narration briefly appears at the 24 second mark in the teaser trailer when Seo Kang-Joo asks “Hope? Am I to you?”

“Iron Family” is now set to first air September 28, 2024 in South Korea.

Ju Ji-Hoon and Jung Yu-Mi are cast in tvN drama series “Love on a Single Tree Bridge” (literal title). The romance themed drama series is scripted by Im Ye-Jin (“The Tale of Nokdu“) and directed by Park Joon-Hwa (“Because This Is My First Life“). Story for “Love on a Single Tree Bridge” will have Ju Ji-Hoon and Jung Yu-Mi play two people who were hometown rivals as teens, meet again as adults when they work at the same school.

“Love on a Single Tree Bridge” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.
