Ma Dong-Seok & Park Hyung-Sik cast in drama “Twelve”

Actors Ma Dong-Seok and Park Hyung-Sik are cast for lead roles in drama series “Twelve.” The drama series is setup as a fantasy-action blockbuster and will be directed by Kang Dae-Kyu (“Harmony“). Ma Dong-Seok will play Tae-San. He leads a group of 12 angels that battle evil forces. Park Hyung-Sik will play O-Gwi. He is an evil being and became somehow awakened after being sealed in the gates of Hell.

“Twelve” will be released sometime next year, but its broadcasting station or OTT platform has not yet been decided.

Teaser poster and air date set for MBC drama “When The Phone Rings”

Teaser poster and air date set for MBC drama series “When The Phone Rings” (English title) starring Yoo Yeon-Seok & Chae Soo-Bin. The mystery-romance drama series is based on 2022 web novel “Jigeum Geoshin Jeonhwaneun” by Geoneomulnyeo. Caption on the teaser poster states “Everyone has a secret right? Don’t you? Something hiding from.”

“When The Phone Rings” will first air November 22, 2024 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Friday and Saturday 9:50 PM time slot after “Doubt“) and will be available to stream on Netflix shortly after airing in Korea.

Kang Ha-Neul and Go Min-Si cast in drama “Your Taste”

Kang Ha-Neul and Go Min-Si are cast for lead roles in drama series “Your Taste” (literal title). Also cast for supporting roles are Kim Shin-Rok and Yoo Su-Bin. Director Han Jun-Hee (“D.P.“) participates in the series as a creator and  Park Dan-Hee (“Weak Hero Class 1“) directs the drama series. The food themed drama series follows two people from different walks of life, who come together to run a restaurant in Jeonju, a city known for its food.

“Your Taste” will be released sometime next year, but broadcasting station/platform has not yet been decided.

Teaser trailer for Disney+ drama “Gangnam B-Side”

Teaser trailer added for Disney+ drama series “Gangnam B-Side” starring Ji Chang-Wook, Jo Woo-Jin, and Ha Yoon-Kyung. Drama series, directed by Park Noo-Ri (“Money“), revolves around a serial disappearance case in Gangnam involving Detective Kang Dong-Woo (Jo Woo-Jin), criminal Yoon Gil-Ho (Ha Yoon-Kyung), and Prosecutor Min Seo-Jin (Ha Yoon-Kyung). Teaser poster and release date for Disney+ drama “Light Shop”

First teaser poster and ep.1 release date added for Disney+ drama series “Light Shop” starring Ju Ji-Hoon & Park Bo-Young. The drama series is based on based on webcomic “Jomyeonggage” by Kang Pool and directed by veteran actor Kim Hee-Won. This is the second Disney+ drama series adapted from a Kang Pool webcomic, following 2023 Disney+ drama series “Moving.” Caption on the teaser poster states “At the end of a dark alley, strange customers come.”

The first two episodes of “Light Shop” will be available to stream December 4 , 2024 and two more episodes will be released in each of the following two weeks.

Main trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Hellbound 2” starring Kim Hyun-Joo, Kim Sung-Cheol, & Kim Shin-Rok. Caption on the teaser poster states “A world full of Hell, they were resurrected.” Drama series is a sequel to 2021 Netflix drama series “Hellbound.” Actor Yoo Ah-In does not appear in the sequel and is replaced with Kim Sung-Cheol as Jung Jin-Soo.
