Kim Jun-Seo, Cha Sun-Hyung, Cha Jung-Woo, and Kim Ho-Young cast in Watcha drama “Secret Relationship”

Kim Jun-Seo, Cha Sun-Hyung, Cha Jung-Woo, and Kim Ho-Young are cast in Watcha drama series “Secret Relationship” (literal title). The BL themed drama series is based on webcomic “Bimilsayi” by Mcqueen Studio and production for the drama series will be jointly produced between Playlist, Kakao Entertainment, and Japan’s Fuji TV. Story for “Secret Relationship” will have Kim Jun-Seo play Jung Da-On. He has three men interested in him.

Filming for “Secret Relationship” is currently underway and the drama series will be available to stream sometime next year.

Main trailer and poster for Netflix drama “Squid Game 2”

Main trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Squid Game 2” starring Lee Jung-Jae, Lee Byung-Hun, and Wi Ha-Joon. The sequel drama series will also feature new characters, played by popular actors including Yim Si-Wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Yang Dong-Geun, Park Gyu-Young, Lee Jin-Uk, Roh Jae-Won, and Won Ji-An, who compete for the prize in a deadly survival game. Caption on the main poster states “45.6 billion won, game of childhood innocence is not over.”

“Squid Game 2” will be available to stream from December 26, 2024.

Main trailer and poster for Coupang Play drama “Family Matters”

Main trailer and poster added for Coupang Play drama series “Family Matters” starring Bae Doo-Na & Ryoo Seung-Bum. The drama series, directed by by brothers Kim Gok & Kim Sun (“Horror Stories“), revolves around a group of people who have superpowers and decide to live together as a family. The main trailer begins with Bae Doo-Na stating “Now, pay attention. Whatever you imagined, it’s going to be much more horrible than that.” This is followed by (0:19) Lomon “So mom’s way is?,” (0:22) Ryoo Seung-Bum “It’s called brain hacking. It completely controls even memories,”  (0:29) Bae Doo-Na “Bad behavior comes with a bad price,” (0:45) Bae Doo-Na “Just like my father-in-law said, all the family members need to put their heads together and come up with a plan,” (1:00) Bae Doo-Na’ “No matter how many people die, there is nothing more important than our  Ji-Hoon and Ji-Woo,” and (1:06) Baek Yoon-Sik “Look. Don’t you feel today a little more like a real family than yesterday?” Caption on the poster states “Bring them home. The weekday evening drama series will slot into KBS2’s Monday to Friday 7:50 PM time slot after “Snow White’s Revenge” finishes. Still images and ep.1 air date set for tvN drama series “When the Stars Gossip” starring Lee Min-Ho & Kong Hyo-Jin. The still images are of Lee Min-Ho, Kong Hyo-Jin, Oh Jung-Se, Han Ji-Eun, Kim Joo-Hun, Lee El, Lee Cho-Hee, and Huh Nam-Jun. The drama series is set on a space station, where a man, played by Lee Min-Ho, arrives there as a space tourist. He has a secret mission for begin there as well.

Mun Ka-Young cast in tvN drama “Seocho District”

Mun Ka-Young is cast for the lead female role in tvN drama series “Seocho District” (literal title) co-starring Lee Jong-Suk. For the upcoming drama series, which is law based, Mun Ka-Young will play Kang Hee-Ji. Her character is a first year lawyer, who just finished her probationary period at a law firm. She is confident and honest about herself with a bright personality. She gave up her dream of becoming an artist and took the path of becoming a lawyer to protect her loved ones. She is an enthusiastic lawyer, who not only provides legal service to her clients, but also cares about their personal well being.

“Seocho District” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer 4 added for JTBC drama series “The Tale of Lady Ok” starring Lim Ji-Yeon & Choo Yeong-Woo. “The Tale of Lady Ok” is set in the Joseon period with Lim Ji-Yeon playing Attorney Ok Tae-Young … but her identity is completely fake. Narration in the teaser trailer has Choo Yeong-Woo stating “She is graceful as a butterfly, her face is full of life, her eyes are very smart. Butterfly. Face. Eyes. Late spring. Romance. I love a slave, not a noblewoman.” Around the 27 second mark Lim Ji-Yeon asks “Can I be greedy just once?”

First teaser poster & air date set for SBS drama “Love Scout”

First teaser poster & air date set for SBS drama series “Love Scout” starring Han Ji-Min & Lee Joon-Hyuk. The romance themed drama series revolves around the CEO of a company (Han Ji-Min), who is oblivious to things outside of work, and her secretary (Lee Joon-Hyuk). The Korean title has also changed from “Insahaneun Sai” (literally “Between Greetings”) to “Naui Wanbyeokhan Biseo” (literally “My Perfect Secretary”).

“Love Scout ” will first air January 3, 2025 in South Korea (will take over SBS’ Friday and Saturday 10PM time slot after “The Fiery Priest 2“).
