Park Eun-Bin & Cha Eun-Woo cast in Netflix drama series “The WONDERfools”

Park Eun-Bin, Cha Eun-Woo, Kim Hae-Sook, Choi Dae-Hoon, Im Sung-Jae, and Son Hyun-Joo are cast in Netflix drama series “The WONDERfools.” The superhero-comedy drama series will be directed by Yu In-Sik (“Dr. Romantic“) and scripted by Heo Da-Joong (“Extreme Job“). Story for “The WONDERfools” is set in the year 1999 and follows three people in Haeseong City who suddenly gain supernatural powers and a socially awkward civil servant. Cha Eun-Woo will play the civil servant there named Lee Woon-Jeong. He looks into a serial disappearance case with Eun Chae-Ni (Park Eun-Bin), who gained a supernatural power with her neighbors played by Choi Dae-Hoon and Im Sung-Jae.

“The WONDERfools” will be available to stream sometime next year in South Korea.

Han Groo and Choi Sang are cast in KBS2 drama “Cinderella Game”

Han Groo and Choi Sang are cast for lead roles in KBS2 weekday evening drama series “Cinderella Game.” Also cast for major supporting character roles are Park Ri-Won and Kwon Do-Hyung. The revenge themed drama series follows a woman played by Han Groo who learns that her family is not her real family and they are actually the enemies of her birth parents.

“Cinderella Game” will first air this December in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday – Friday 7:50 PM time slot after “Snow White’s Revenge“).

First teaser poster added for Coupang Play drama series “Family Plan” starring Bae Doo-Na, Ryoo Seung-Bum, Baek Yoon-Sik, Lomon, and Lee Su-Hyun. The drama series revolves around a group of people who disguise themselves as a family because of their super powers. Caption on the teaser poster states “Pay attention from now on … we’ll show you what kind of family we are.”

“Family Plan” will be available to stream from November 29, 2024 in South Korea.

The drama series is based on 2015 novel “Trunk” by Kim Ryeo-Ryeong (“Punch“) and directed by Kim Kyu-Tae (“Our Blues“). Caption on the teaser poster states “A secret marriage that is real and fake, everything is intertwined.”

First teaser trailer added for MBC drama series “Kind Ms. Sun-Joo” (literal title) starring Shim Yi-Young, Song Chang-Eui, Choi Jung-Yoon, & Jung Young-Sub. The weekday evening drama series revolves around two couples who divorce, due to an affair between a person from each couple. Actress Shim Yi-Young is featured exclusively in the first teaser trailer as Pi Sun-Joo.

“Kind Ms. Sun-Joo” will first air November, 2024 (takes over MBC’s Monday through Friday 7:05 PM time slot after “The Brave Yong Su-Jeong“).

Teaser trailer 2 for SBS drama “The Fiery Priest 2”

Teaser trailer 2 added for SBS drama series “The Fiery Priest 2” starring Kim Nam-Gil and Lee Ha-Nee. The drama series is a sequel to 2019 SBS drama series “The Fiery Priest.” Appropriately enough, SBS also decided that “The Fiery Priest 2” will air on SBS’ Friday and Saturday 10PM time slot after “The Judge from Hell” finishes. First teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “The Tale of Lady Ok” starring Lim Ji-Yeon and Choo Yeong-Woo. The teaser trailer features Lim Ji-Yeon as Ok Tae-Young. She narrates in the trailer (0:18) “My dream is to die old. I want to die gracefully, not by starving or being beaten” and (0:30) “I am the runaway slave, fake Ok Tae-Young.” In “The Tale of Lady Ok ,” that is set during the Joseon period, Ok Tae-Young lives under a fake identity. She is really Gu-Deok and a runaway slave.
