First script reading for JTBC drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon”

First script reading for upcoming JTBC drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon” took place October 29, 2016 at JTBC building in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. The first script reading featured main cast members Park Bo-Young, Park Hyung-Sik (‘ZE:A’) and Ji Soo. Filming for the drama series then began in November, 2016.

The drama series has Park Bo-Young playing Do Bong-Soon. She is a charming young woman … with incredible strength. Park Hyung-Sik plays An Min-Hyuk. He is the CEO of a game company with picky, but cute personality. Ji Soo plays In Kook-Doo. He is a rookie detective and holds an unrequited love for Do Bong-Soon.

“Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon” will first air February, 2017 in South Korea.

Hyun-Bin offered lead role in new drama series “City of Stars”

Hyun-Bin has been offered the lead role in new drama series “City of Stars” (literal title). Currently, Hyun-Bin is positively considering the offer. The drama series is the first directed by long-time movie director Jang Jin.

Premise for the drama series follows two men who are selected for an astronaut training program. They then become in an international chase for a chemical needed to fuel an alternative energy source. Filming for “City of Stars” begins May, 2016. Exact network to air the drama series has not yet been decided.

Teaser trailer for MBC drama series “Missing Nine”

Teaser trailer added for upcoming MBC drama series “Missing Nine” starring Jung Kyoung-Ho & Baek Jin-Hee.

Meanwhile, still images above are of Jung Kyoung-Ho, Baek Jin-Hee, Kim Sang-Ho and Tae Hang-Ho. The scenes in the still images show their characters struggling to survive on a deserted island. Story for the drama series follows 9 people from “Legend Entertainment” as they survive a plane crash, but become stranded on a deserted island.

“Missing Nine” will air starting this January in South Korea.

Ji Soo and Seohyun to make cameo appearance in MBC drama series “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo”

Ji Soo and Seohyun (‘Girls’ Generation’) are set to make cameo appearances in currently airing MBC drama series “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo” starring Lee Sung-Kyung & Nam Joo-Hyuk. Their cameo appearances are to give support to Nam Joo-Hyuk whom they worked with previously in just concluded SBS drama series “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.”

Filming for Ji Soo and Seohyun’s cameo appearances have already been completed. Ji Soo will appear in ep.11 which will air December 21, 2016 and Seohyun will appear in ep.12 which will air December 22, 2016.

Park Hwan-Hee cast in MBC drama series “King Loves”

Actress Park Hwan-Hee is now cast in upcoming MBC drama series “King Loves” starring Siwan (‘ZE:A’) and Yoona (‘Girls’ Generation’). For drama series “King Loves,” Park Hwan-Hee will play major supporting character Wang Dan. Her character is the daughter of a royal family and the younger sister of Wang Rin (Hong Jong-Hyun has been offered this role, but hasn’t yet confirmed). Wang Dan only loves Won (Siwan), but he doesn’t hold the same feelings for her.

“King Loves” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Ep.5 still images from tvN drama series “Goblin”

Here’s still images of Gong Yoo and Kim Go-Eun from a scene in ep.5 of tvN drama series “Goblin.” This scene was filmed on December 12, 2016 at a drama set in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-Province, South Korea. As you can see from the still images, both characters are in tears, while Kim Go-Eun’s character reaches up to touch the cheek of Gong Yoo’s character. The exact why’s will be revealed in ep.5.

Ep.5 of tvN drama series “Goblin” airs later tonight in South Korea.
