Jung So-Min cast in KBS2 drama series “Father is Strange”

Actress Jung So-Min is cast in KBS2 drama series “Father is Strange” joining Lee Joon and Kim So-Yeon as main cast members.

In the drama series, Lee Joon plays a former idol member turned actor who suddenly appears in front of a family and begins living with them. The family has 4 children. Jung So-Min and Kim So-Yeon will play sisters in the family. Jung So-Min in particular will play Byun Mi-Young. She is the third child among the 4 siblings. She begins working as an intern at an entertainment company and becomes involved with actor Ahn Joong-Hee (Lee Joon).

Meanwhile, former ‘T-ara’ member Ryu Hwa-Young has been offered a role as a major supporting character. If she accepts, she will play the youngest of the 4 siblings.

“Father is Strange” first airs February, 2017 in South Korea.

Choi Jin-Hyuk cast in OCN drama series “Tunnel”

Choi Jin-Hyuk is cast for lead male character in new OCN drama series “Tunnel.” In the drama series, Choi Jin-Hyuk will play Park Gwang-Ho. He works as a veteran detective in the year 1980. He looks for a serial killer and travels to the present day to find clues. Actress Lee Yoo-Young is considering an offer to play the lead female character in the drama series.

Filming begins later this month in South Korea.

Yoon Sang-Hyun offered lead role in KBS2 drama series “Perfect Wife”

Yoon Sang-Hyun has been offered the lead male role in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Perfect Wife.” Actress Ko So-Young has already received an offer to play the lead female role and Cho Yeo-Jeong has already received an offer to play a lead supporting charcter. If Yoon Sang-Hyun accepts, he will play Kim Won-Jae. His character is a professor of psychology and friend of main character Sim Jae-Bok. They went to the same middle and high schools.

“Perfect Wife” will first air February, 2017 in South Korea (takes over KBS2 Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot after “Hwarang“).

Lee Joon cast in KBS2 drama series “Father is Strange”

Lee Joon is now cast for the lead male role in upcoming KBS2 weekend drama series “Father is Strange.” In addition, actress Jung So-Min has been offered the lead female role and she is currently positively considering the offer. Veteran performers Kim Young-Chul & Kim Hae-Sook have also been offered supporting roles and they are considering their offers positively.

“Father is Strange” will first air February, 2017 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday and Sunday 8PM time slot after “The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop“).

Lee Kwang-Soo still images in KBS2 drama series “Hwarang”

Here’s still images of Lee Kwang-Soo who will make a special appearance in KBS2 drama series “Hwarang.” In the drama series, Lee Kwang-Soo will play Mak-Moon. He is the older brother of A-Ro (Go Ara). Because of something that happened, he grew up alone in a village for the lowest class. There, Mak-Moon met Moo Myung (Park Seo-Joon) and they became friends. Because of Mak-Moon, Moo-Myung and A-Ro meet and Moo-Myung also picks up the name of Sun Woo.

“Hwarang” first airs December 19, 2016 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Tomorrow With You”

First teaser trailer added for upcoming tvN drama series “Tomorrow With You” starring Lee Je-Hoon & Shin Min-A. Although the brief 15 second teaser doesn’t feature any live footage from the drama series, the voiceover by Shin Min-A says “I married a time traveler” and Lee Je-Hoon’s voiceover says “Her fate will be changed, I will change.”

Namgung Min and Nam Sang-Mi cast in KBS2 drama series “Chief Kim”

Namgung Min and Nam Sang-Mi are now cast for the lead roles in new KBS2 drama series “Chief Kim.” Also cast in supporting roles are Lee Joon-Ho (‘2PM’) and Kim Won-Hae. The first script reading for the drama series has already taken place and filming is underway in Gunsan, South Korea.

For drama series “Chief Kim,” Namgung Min will play Kim Gwan-Chul. He is the chief of an accounting department. He is a man of principle and pride. He is also full of mischief.

Nam Sang-Mi will play Yoon Ha-Kyung. She is the assistant manager in the same accounting department. She appears cold and selfish, but she is actually a kind person. She is also good with her work.

Lee Joon-Ho will play Seo Yool. He is the director of the company. He is also smart and charismatic.

“Chief Kim” first airs January, 2017 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot currently occupied by “Oh My Geum-Bi“).

Here’s the first still images of Joo Won and Oh Yeon-Seo in upcoming SBS drama series “My Sassy Girl.” The drama series is based on 2001 movie “My Sassy Girl,” but based in a historical setting. In the drama series, Joo Won plays Gyun-Woo. His character is scripted as being cold-hearted, smart and attractive. Oh Yeon-Seo will play Princess Hyemyung. She is pretty, but she is also a troublemaker and sometimes does strange things.

“My Sassy Girl” will air sometime in the first half of 2017 in South Korea.
