Teaser poster for JTBC drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon”

Teaser poster added for upcoming JTBC drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon” starring Park Bo-Young, Park Hyung-Sik & Ji Soo. In the drama series, Park Bo-Young plays title character Do Bong-Soon. She was born with immense physical strength, but she wants to be a weaker, fragile girl for her crush Kook-Doo (Ji Soo). She has had a crush on Kook-Doo since elementary school. Do Bong-Soon then lands a job as a guard at a game company run by Min-Hyuk (Park Hyung-Sik).

“Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon” will first air February 24, 2017 in South Korea.

Kai & Jung Da-Bin cast in KBS2 drama series “Andante”

Kai (‘EXO-K’) and Jung Da-Bin are cast for lead roles in new KBS2 drama series “Andante.” Kai will play lead male character Lee Shi-Kyung. He is a high school student and has to suddenly move out into the countryside. Jung Da-Bin will play the lead female character. The drama series will air sometime during the second half of 2017 in South Korea.

Ep.14 of tvN drama series “Goblin” to air a week later …

Screenwriter Kim Eun-Sook has just finished the script for the final episode (ep.16) of tvN drama series “Goblin.” To have enough time to finish everything smoothly, ep.14 will now air a week later on Friday, January 20, 2017. Ep. 15 and the final episode (ep.16) will now air consecutively on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

Since ep.14 will not air on Saturday, January 14, 2017, tvN will air a special edition of “Goblin” in its place. The special edition contains story of the characters and foreshadowing of ep. 14-16.

Lee Joon-Gi and Kim A-Joong offered lead roles in KBS2 drama series “Criminal Minds”

Lee Joon-Gi and Kim A-Joong have been offered lead roles in new KBS2 drama series “Criminal Minds.” The drama series is a remake of U.S. television series “Criminal Minds” which first aired in 2005 on CBS. Both Lee Joon-Gi and Kim A-Joong are considering the offers. Filming for the drama series is planned to begin the first half of this year and the drama series will air sometime during autumn, 2017 in South Korea.

Teaser poster for MBC “Three Color Fantasy” drama series

Here’s a single poster for upcoming MBC “Three Color Fantasy” series. The series consists of 3 individual drama series which are “The Universe’s Star,”  “Romance Full of Life” and  “Queen of Ring.” Each of the the 3 drama series will consist of 3 episodes.

“The Universe’s Star” will premiere January 26, 2017, “Romance Full of Life” follows on February 16, 2017 and “Queen of Ring”will first air March 9, 2017.

Jo Hyun-Jae & Hong Soo-A cast in drama series “Housewife Detective”

Jo Hyun-Jae & Hong Soo-A are cast for major supporting character roles in new drama series “Housewife Detective.” The drama series revolves around a housewife who begins to work as an assistant to a detective. For the drama series, Jo Hyun-Jae will play Cha Jae-Hoon. He works as a prosecutor. Hong Soo-A will play Park Min-Joo. She comes from a wealthy background and has a warm heart. The two supporting characters become romantically involved, but they also have a sad fate. Casting for the lead roles are ongoing.

Teaser #2 for upcoming SBS drama series “Defendant” starring Ji Sung, Kwon Yuri (Girls’ Generation) & Uhm Ki-Joon.

Meanwhile, still images above are the first of Kwon Yuri in SBS drama series “Defendant.” In the drama series, Kwon Yuri plays Seo Eun-Hye. Her character is a rookie lawyer and a righteous person. She is the only one to hold out a hand to Park Jung-Woo (Ji Sung). He has been sentenced to death for killing his wife and daughter.”Defendant” first airs January 23, 2017 in South Korea.

Uhm Jung-Hwa and Ku Hye-Sun cat in MBC drama series “You Are Too Much”

Uhm Jung-Hwa and Ku Hye-Sun are cast in new MBC weekend drama series “You Are Too Much” (literal title). They join already cast Kang Tae-Oh from idol group ‘5urprise’. Story for “You Are Too Much” will revolve around Yoo Ji-Na (Uhm Jung-Hwa) and Jung Hae-Dang (Ku Hye-Sun). Yoo Ji-Na has been a popular singer for the past 20 years and Jung Hae-Dang works as an impersonator of Yoo Ji-Na to support her family.

“You Are Too Much” will first air February, 2017 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Saturday and Sunday 8:40 PM time slot after “Blow Breeze“).
