Kwak Dong-Yeon cast in KBS2 drama special “Slow”

Kwak Dong-Yeon is cast in KBS2 drama special “Slow.” The drama special is the 9th installment in this year’s KBS drama special series and will air October 29, 2017 in South Korea. Kwak Dong-Yeon will play main character Lee Ji-Won in “Slow.” His character plays baseball for his high school team and he pretty much thinks just about baseball. He has stress that he might not be able to play professionally.

Kim You-Jung offered lead female role in JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now”

Kim You-Jung has been offered the lead female role in JTBC live-action drama series “Clean With Passion For Now.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Ildan Ddeugeobge Chungsohara” by Aaengo. If Kim You-Jung accepts, she will play Gil O-Sol. Her character has a bright personality and she doesn’t mind getting dirty. She meets a man who runs a cleaning company and has a fear of germs.

“Clean With Passion For Now” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Baek Jin-Hee offered lead role in KBS2 drama series “Jugglers”

Baek Jin-Hee has been offered the lead female role in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Jugglers” co-starring Daniel Choi, Kang Hye-Jung and Lee Won-Geun. Currently, Baek Jin-Hee is considering the offer positively. If Baek Jin-Hee accepts the offer, she will play Jwa Yoon-Yi. Her character has a bright personality, works as a secretary and has lived her life with a passive attitude. For Daniel Choi, his performance as lead male character Nam Chi-Won marks his first acting role since being discharged from the military on September 29, 2017.

The first script reading is scheduled to be held October 26, 2017 and the drama series will first air December, 2017 in South Korea.

Kim Soo-Hyun enters military

Actor Kim Soo-Hyun entered the Gyeonggi Province training camp this afternoon on October 23, 2017 to enlist in the South Korean military. He is scheduled to be discharged on July 22, 2019. When Kim Soo-Hyun was 20, he took a physical examination for the South Korean military and received results that recommended he serve an alternative service due to a heart condition he had when he was a child. He took the physical examination again 5 years later, after his health condition improved, and received clearance to enlist in the military.

Character teaser trailers for OCN drama series “Bad Guys 2.” The character teaser trailers are of Joo Jin-Mo as Heo Il-Hoo and Ji Soo as Han Gang-Joo. Heo Il-Hoo is a former organized crime group member, but now runs a small eatery at a traditional market. Han Gang-Joo receives money for going to prison for other people.

Pyo Ye-Jin cast in KBS1 drama series “I Love Even If I Hate”

Pyo Ye-Jin is now cast in upcoming KBS1 weekday evening drama series “I Love Even If I Hate” co-starring Lee Sung-Yeol (‘INFINITE’). For the drama series, Pyo Ye-Jin will play Gil Eun-Zo. Her character went through extreme difficulties due to an unhappy family environment as a child. She loses everything as an adult and decides to take revenge on those responsible.

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming tvN drama series “Wise Prison Life” starring Park Hae-Soo and Jung Kyoung-Ho. The teaser poster shows Park Hae-Soo as Kim Je-Hyeok. He is looking into the distance that is half a baseball stadium and half a prison yard. In the drama series, Kim Je-Hyeok is a superstar baseball player, but he becomes a criminal overnight and goes to prison.

Park Eun-Bin and Yeon Woo-Jin cast in SBS drama series “Nothing to Lose”

Park Eun-Bin and Yeon Woo-Jin are cast for the lead roles in upcoming SBS drama series “Nothing to Lose” (literal title). They will join already cast members Dong Ha and Na Hae-Ryung (‘BESTie’) who play supporting characters. For the drama series, Park Eun-Bin and Yeon Woo-Jin will play judges who work in the same court room. Park Eun-Bin’s character goes up a power who killed her older brother and framed him for murder.

The first script reading will take place October 23, 2017 and the drama series will first air this November in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Wednesday and Thursday 10pm time slot after “While You Were Sleeping“).

First script reading for MBC drama “I’m Not a Robot”

First script reading for MBC drama “I’m Not a Robot” took place September 27, 2019 at MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. The first script reading began at 2pm and finished late in the night.

At the first script reading, main cast members Yoo Seung-Ho, Chae Soo-Bin, Uhm Ki-Joon, Kang Ki-Young, Hwang Seung-Un and others attended.  Director Jung Dae-Yoon spoke before the script reading began and said “We are all the main characters of our lives. I think the characters you took are also the main characters in their lives. The drama series will become good if you do not forget that you are all main characters.”

Choi Ji-Woo and Minho cast in tvN drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World”

Choi Ji-Woo and Minho (‘SHINee’) are cast in upcoming tvN drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World.” Choi Ji-Woo will play Yeon-Soo. Her mother (Won Mi-Kyung) gets diagnosed with a terminal disease. Meanwhile, Minho will Jung-Soo. He is the younger brother of Yeon-Soo. He learns that his mother doesn’t have much time to live. The drama series is a remake of 1996 MBC drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye.”

“The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World” will consist of 4 episodes and first air December, 2017 in South Korea.
