Han Hye-Jin cast in MBC drama series “Let’s Hold Hands Tightly and Watch The Sunset”

Han Hye-Jin is cast for the lead female role in MBC drama series “Let’s Hold Hands Tightly and Watch The Sunset.” Han Hye-Jin will play the character of Nam Hyun-Joo. She married a university senior, Kim Do-Young, and liked him since her first year at the university. She has a happy life, but, she suddenly seeks a divorce. She hopes to find a new love to make her last moment of life shine.

Yu In-Young has already been cast for a major supporting role. She will play Shin Da-Hye and she is Kim Do-Young’s first love. Yoon Sang-Hyun has also received an offer to play the lead role of her husband and he is still considering.

“Let’s Hold Hands Tightly and Watch The Sunset” will first air March 14, 2018 in South Korea.

Song Jae-Rim cast in JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now”

Song Jae-Rim is now cast in upcoming JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now” starring Kim You-Jung and Ahn Hyo-Seop. For the drama series, Song Jae-Rim will play major supporting character Choi-gun. The drama series is based on webcomic “Ildan Ddeugeobge Chungsohara” by Aaengo, but Song Jae-Rim’s character of Choi-gun is original to the drama series.  He lives in the rooftop apartment in the same building where Gil O-Sol (Kim You-Jung) lives. He is a mysterious guy. Nobody knows his full name and nobody knows what he does do for a living. A love triangle comes about with Gil O-Sol and Jang Sun-Gyeol.

Two main posters for OCN drama series “Children of A Lesser God”

Here’s two main posters for OCN drama series “Children of A Lesser God” starring Kang Ji-Hwan and Kim Ok-Vin. The drama series follows two detectives working together to uncover a conspiracy involving a shadow organization. Detective Cheon Jae-In (Kang Ji-Hwan) is guided by scientific principles while Detective Kim Dan (Kim Ok-Vin) has a supernatural power to see moments when victims die.

Jang Keun-Suk and Han Ye-Ri cast in SBS drama series “Switch: Change the World”

Jang Keun-Suk and Han Ye-Ri are cast for lead roles in SBS drama series “Switch: Change the World” (literal title). The drama series previously had the early working title of “Gongjakwang” (“King Peacock”). In the drama series, Jang Keun-Suk will play a swindler who was unable to become a prosecutor. Han Ye-Ri will play a prosecutor.

“Switch: Change the World” first airs March, 2018 in South Korea (airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10PM following “Return“).

Ahn Hyo-Seop cast in JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now”

Ahn Hyo-Seop (‘One O One’) is now cast in upcoming JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now” co-starring Kim You-Jung. Drama series is based on webcomic “Ildan Ddeugeobge Chungsohara” by Aaengo. For the drama series, Ahn Hyo-Seop will play Jang Sun-Gyeol. He runs a cleaning company, but he has a strong fear of germs. Because of his mysophobia, he can’t tolerate any dust and does not like physical contact with others. His life changes after Gil O-Sol (Kim You-Jung) appears.

Jung Kyoung-Ho cast in OCN drama series “Life on Mars”

Jung Kyoung-Ho is cast in upcoming OCN remake drama series “Life on Mars.” The drama series is a remake of UK television series “Life on Mars” which aired on BBC One from 2006-2007. In the drama series, Jung Kyoung-Ho will play Han Tae-Joo. He is a detective who gets into an accident and wakes up in the the year 1987. He tries to solve a serial murder case to get back to the present day. Im Chang-Jung is currently considering an offer to play a major supporting male character role.

“Life on Mars” will air sometime this year in South Korea.

Kim Ji-Hoon & Kim Joo-Hyun cast in MBC drama series “Rich Family’s Son”

Kim Ji-Hoon & Kim Joo-Hyu are cast for lead roles in new MBC drama series “Rich Family’s Son” (literal title). They will join already cast supporting performers Lee Gyu-Han and Hong Soo-Hyun. The drama series will air on Sundays at 8:45 PM with two consecutive episodes.  Kim Ji-Hoon will play Lee Gwang-Jae. He comes from a rich family and is immature. His father dies and leaves behind a lot of debt which Lee Gwang-Jae attempts to pay off. Kim Joo-Hyun will play Kim Young-Ha. She supports Lee Gwang-Jae as he tries to pay off his father’s debt. Lee Gyu-Han will play major supporting character Tae-Il. He works at a franchise fast company and has a crush on Kim Young-Ha. Hong Soo-Hyun will play major supporting character Kyung-Ha. She works at a fashion company and has feelings for Lee Gwang-Jae.

Kim You-Jung cast in JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now”

Kim You-Jung is now cast for upcoming JTBC drama series “Clean With Passion For Now” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Ildan Ddeugeobge Chungsohara” by Aaengo. Ahn Hyo-Seop (‘One O One’) has been offered the lead male role and he is considering the offer. Song Jae-Rim has also been offered a major supporting character role and he is considering the offer.

For “Clean With Passion For Now,” Kim You-Jung will play Gil O-Sol. She works various part-time jobs and is looking for a regular full-time job. She wears tracksuits all the time and is always busy because of her part-time jobs. Gil O-Sol then begins work at a cleaning company run by Jang Sun-Gyeol (Ahn Hyo-Seop if he accepts his offer). Song Jae-Rim has been offered the role of Choi-gun. He is an original character to the drama series and not found in the original webcomic.

“Clean With Passion For Now” first airs April, 2018 (takes over JTBC’s Monday and Tuesday 11PM time slot after “Eulachacha Waikiki”).

Seo In-Guk offered lead role in tvN drama series “Hundred Million Stars From the Sky”

Seo In-Guk has been offered a lead role in tvN remake drama series “Hundred Million Stars From the Sky” (literal title). The drama series is a remake of 2002 Fuji TV drama series “Hundred Million Stars From the Sky” starring Takuya Kimura and scripted by Eriko Kitagawa. If Seo In-Guk accepts, he will team up with drama series director Yoo Je-Won for the second time. They previously worked together in 2014 tvN drama series “High School King of Savvy.” For Seo In-Guk this is also his first acting offer since being discharged early from the military due to a health issue.
