Shin Dong-Wook & Kwon Yuri cast in MBC drama series “Dae Jang-Geum Is Watching”

Shin Dong-Wook & Kwon Yuri (‘Girls’ Generation’) are cast in MBC drama series “Dae Jang-Geum Is Watching” (literal title). Also cast in supporting roles are Lee Yeol-Eum, Kim Hyun-Joon, Ki Do-Hoon and Jung Yi-Rang. The drama series imagines what the descendants of Dae Jang-Geum (main character in MBC drama series “A Jewel in the Palace“) would live like in the present day. Shin Dong-Wook will play the oldest of 3 siblings who are descendants of Dae Jang-Geum. He gets involved with a woman at work played by Kwon Yuri. The drama series is also the first MBC drama series to air weekly on Thursdays at 11:10 PM.

“Dae Jang-Geum Is Watching” first airs October 4, 2018 in South Korea.

First two teaser trailers for tvN drama series “100 Days My Prince”

First two teaser trailers added for upcoming tvN drama series “100 Days My Prince” starring Do Kyung-Soo (‘EXO’) and Nam Ji-Hyun. Teaser trailer #1-1 (with Nam Ji-Hyun standing near cherry blossom trees) starts with Do Kyung-Soo’s voice stating in Korean “I can have everything, but I could not have one thing. I forgot everything, but I could not forget one person.”

“100 Days My Prince” first airs September 10, 2018 in South Korea.

3 teaser posters for KBS2 drama series “The Ghost Detective”

Here’s 3 teaser posters for upcoming KBS2 drama series “The Ghost Detective” starring Daniel Choi, Park Eun-Bin and Lee Ji-Ah. The teaser posters all feature Daniel Choi. The drama series follows Detective Lee Da-Il (Daniel Choi) and his assistant Jung Yeo-Wool (Park Eun-Bin) as they meet a mysterious woman (Lee Ji-Ah). As you may surmise from the teaser posters, the genre for the drama series is horror-thriller.

“The Ghost Detective” first airs August 29, 2018 in South Korea.

Jung Woong-In and CNU cast in SBS drama series “Miss Ma”

Jung Woong-In and CNU (member of boy band ‘B1A4’) are cast in upcoming SBS Saturday drama series “Miss Ma” (literal title). The drama series is based on novel series “Miss Marple” by English writer Agatha Christie. Actress Kim Yunjin has been offered the lead female role and she is “positively considering” the offer. Jung Woong-In will play lead male character Detective Han Tae-Kyu. His character chases after a woman who escaped from prison. CNU will play supporting character Police Officer Bae Do-Hwan.

“Miss Ma” will first air September, 2018 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Saturday 9PM time slot after “Let Me Introduce Her.”).

An Ji-Hyun cast in KBS W drama series “That Time When Time Stops”

Actress An Ji-Hyun is cast for the lead female role in upcoming KBS W drama series “That Time When Time Stops” co-starring Kim Hyun-Joong. For the drama series, An Ji-Hyun will play the character of Kim Sun-A. Her character is 25-years-old and she owns a 3 story building. She gets involved with Joon-Woo (Kim Hyun-Joong) who has supernatural powers.

Filming for “That Time When Time Stops” begins August 1, 2018 and Kim Hyun-Joong’s filming will start the following week. “That Time When Time Stops” is scheduled to first air sometime during October, 2018 in South Korea.

Lee Je-Hoon and Chae Soo-Bin cast in SBS drama series “Fox Bride Star”

Lee Je-Hoon and Chae Soo-Bin are now cast in SBS drama series “Fox Bride Star.” For the drama series, Lee Je-Hoon and Chae Soo-Bin will play main characters Lee Soo-Yeon and Han Yeo-Reum. Earlier Korean working title for the drama series was“Incheongonghang Saramdeul” (“Incheon Airport People”) which gives a clearer idea on the setting for the drama series. Both of the main characters are new employees at Incheon International Airport. Lee Soo-Yeon comes from a science & engineer background while Han Yeo-Reum works in customer service. The drama series is directed by Shin Woo-Cheol and scripted by Kang Eun-Kyung. The duo previously worked together in MBC drama series “Gu Family Book..”

“Fox Bride Star” first airs October, 2018 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Monday & Tuesday 10 PM (“Still 17“).

Here’s 2 teaser posters for upcoming MBC drama series “Terius Behind Me” starring So Ji-Sub and Jung In-Sun. The teaser posters were photographed in Warsaw, Poland. Filming for the scenes in Warsaw, Poland took place over an 8 day period from late June to early July, 2018. Some famous areas in Warsaw where filming took place were Old Town and Lazienki Park.

First script reading for tvN drama series “100 Days My Prince”

First script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “100 Days My Prince,” starring Do Kyung-Soo (‘EXO’)and Nam Ji-Hyun, took place March, 2018 in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Do Kyung-Soo, Nam Ji-Hyun, Cho Seong-Ha, Kim Sun-Ho and Han So-Hee were all in attendance. Story for the drama series follows the 100 day romance between Won-Deuk (Do Kyung-Soo) who has amnesia and doesn’t know he is a crown prince and Hong-Sim (Nam Ji-Hyun).

“100 Days My Prince” is now set to air from September 10, 2018 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday and Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot after “Let’s Eat 3“).
