First teaser trailers for SBS drama series “Doctor Detective” / Kwak Dong-Yeon to make cameo appearance

First two teaser trailers added for SBS drama series “Doctor Detective” starring Park Jin-Hee, Bong Tae-Gyu and Lee Ki-Woo. In teaser 1, around the 13 second mark, a man asks “Is your workplace safe?” The drama series follows doctor who investigate industrial accidents. Meanwhile, actor Kwak Dong-Yeon will make a cameo appearance in the drama series. For his cameo appearance he will play Jung Ha-Rang. He works as a repairman of a screen door in the subway.

“Doctor Detective” first airs July 17, 2019 in South Korea.

Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye-Kyo announce breakup

Representatives for Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye-Kyo have announced today that the two popular actors are in the process of getting divorced. The two famous performers married on October 31, 2017. UAA Entertainment, which represents Song Hye-Ko, issued a statement in Korean that said “..right now Song Hye-Ko is in the process of getting a divorce. The reason for the divorce is due to personality differences. The couple were not able to get over that issue.” Song Joong-Ki also released a statement in Korean which said “I and Song Hye-Ko are in the process getting a divorce. I hope to conclude the divorce proceedings smoothly, without blaming either side for fault. I can’t talk about the details of the divorce. Getting over the divorce, I will do my best as an actor.”

Song Joong-Ki is currently starring in tvN drama series “Arthdal Chronicles,” while Song Hye-Ko last appeared in tvN drama series “Encounter.” The couple famously starred together in 2016 KBS drama series “Descendants of the Sun” and developed a relationship during that time.

Teaser trailer #2 added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Justice” starring Choi Jin-Hyuk, Son Hyun-Joo and Nana. Teaser trailer #2 shows the first meeting between Lee Tae-Kyung (Choi Jin-Hyuk) and Song Woo-Yong (Son Hyun-Joo). Lee Tae-Kyung is looking for justice for the death of his younger brother. Song Woo-Yong offers to help Lee Tae-Kyung if he gives him what he wants. Meanwhile below, are the first still images of Choi Jin-Hyuk, Son Hyun-Joo and Nana in the drama series.

Lee Yo-Won & Choi Gwi-Hwa cast in OCN drama series “The Defender: Human Rights”

Lee Yo-Won and Choi Gwi-Hwa are cast for lead roles in OCN drama series “The Defender: Human Rights” (English title). Also cast for major supporting character roles are Jang Hyun-Sung and Oh Mi-Hee. The drama series will have Lee Yo-Won and Choi Gwi-Hwa playing investigators for the Human Rights Promotion Commission. They investigate cases were potential human rights violations occur.

“The Defender: Human Rights” will first air sometime mid-September, 2019 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Wednesday & Thursday 11 PM time slot after “Class of Lies“).

Here’s still images of Lee Dong-Wook and Lim Soo-Jung in currently airing tvN drama series “Search: WWW.” Lee Dong-Wook makes a cameo appearance in ep.7 of “Search: WWW” which airs later tonight, June 26, 2019 in South Korea. Lee Dong-Wook accepted the cameo appearance due to his good relationship with director Jung Ji-Hyun and the production staff. A glimpse of Lee Dong-Wook’s cameo appearance can also be seen in the teaser trailer for ep.7 on AsianWiki. In that scene and the still images, Lee Dong-Wook steps out of an elevator and tells “Long time no see” to Bae Ta-Mi (Lim Soo-Jung).

First teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “Moment at Eighteen” starring Ong Seong-Wu, Kim Hyang-Gi and Shin Seung-Ho. Teaser trailer #1 has Choi Joon-Woo (Ong Seong-Wu) and Yoo Soo-Bin (Kim Hyang-Gi) meeting near a bicycle parking rack. At the 27 second mark of the teaser, One Seong-Wu’s voice over appears and he teases in Korean “Anyway this moment, anyway eighteen.”

First teaser trailer added for SBS drama series “Doctor John” (English title) starring Ji Sung and Lee Se-Young. The literal title of the drama series is “Doctor Yo-Han.” The teaser trailer features Ji Sung as main character Cha Yo-Han. The teaser trailer starts off with Ji Sung’s narration of “Painful life. Peaceful death. Peaceful Life. Painful death. People who stand on the boundary.”

“Doctor John” first airs July 19, 2019 in South Korea.

First script reading for SBS drama series “Doctor Yo-Han”

First script reading for SBS drama series “Doctor Yo-Han,” starring Ji Sung and Lee Se-Young, took place March, 2019 at SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea. Main cast members including Ji Sung, Lee Se-Young, Lee Kyu-Hyung, Hwang Hee, Jung Min-A, Kim Hye-Eun, Shin Dong-Mi, Eom Hyo-Seop, Oh Seung-Hyeon, Kwon Hwa-Woon, Son San and Lee Yoo-Mi attended the first script reading. The first script reading took about 5 hours to complete. The drama series previously went under Korean working titles of “Doctor Room” and “Tongjeunguisa Cha Yo Han” (literally “Pain Doctor Cha Yo-Han”).

“Doctor Yo-Han” is now scheduled to first air July 19, 2019 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Friday and Saturday 10 PM time slot after “The Nokdu Flower“).
