Main poster & teaser trailer 4 for SBS drama “Alice”

Main poster and teaser trailer #4 added for SBS drama series “Alice” starring Kim Hee-Seon & Joo Won. Caption on the main poster states “I’ll protect you in any world.” Drama series marks actor Joo Won’s first acting role since he was discharged from the South Korean military on February 5, 2019.

“Alice” will first air August 28, 2020  in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Friday & Saturday 10PM time slot recently vacated by “Backstreet Rookie.”).

Shin Ha-Kyun & Yeo Jin-Goo cast in JTBC drama”Monster”

Shin Ha-Kyun and Yeo Jin-Goo are cast in JTBC detective drama series “Monster” (literal title). They will play detectives in a small town, who work together to capture a serial killer. Shin Ha-Kyun will play Lee Dong-Sik. He received a demotion a long time ago and now works at the small police substation in a quiet town. Yeo Jin-Goo will play Han Joo-Won. He is an elite detective and transfers to the same station where Lee Dong-Sik works.

“Monster” will first air sometime during the first half of 2021 in South Korea.

Supporting cast for JTBC drama series “Live On”

Supporting cast added for JTBC drama series “Live On” starring Minhyun and Jung Da-Bin. The newly announced supporting cast members are Ro Jong-Hyun, Yang Hye-Ji, Yeon Woo (‘Momoland’), and Choi Byung-Chan (‘Victon’). Photos above and below are the from the first script reading, which took place recently in South Korea.

Ro Jong-Hyun will play Do Woo-Jae in “Live On.” He is the leader of the student council at their school. He is friends with lead male character Go Eun-Taek (Minhyun). Yang Hye-Ji will play Ji So-Hyun. She is a model student and is a member of the broadcasting club. Yeon Woo will play Kang Jae-Yi. She is the girlfriend of Do Woo-Jae (Ro Jong-Hyun). Lastly, Choi Byung-Chan will play Kim Yoo-Shin. He is a naive and cheerful guy.

“Live On” is now scheduled to first air November, 2020 in South Korea.

Bae Suzy & Nam Joo-Hyuk cast in tvN drama series “Start-Up”

Bae Suzy and Nam Joo-Hyuk are now cast in tvN drama series “Start-Up.” Kim Sun-Ho and Kang Han-Na are also cast for major supporting characters. The drama series had the early working title of “Sandbox” before picking up “Start-Up.”

For the drama series, Bae Suzy will play Seo Dal-Mi. Her dream is to start a technology company. She goes through numerous part-time jobs in pursuit of her goal, until she finally starts her own company. Nam Joo-Hyuk will play Nam Do-San. He is the founder of Samsan Tech, which was founded two years ago. He is also the first love of Seo Dal-Mi. Kim Sun-Ho will play Han Ji-Pyeong. He is a senior manager at SH Venture Capital. Lastly, Kang Han-Na will play Won In-Jae. She is daughter of a rich chaebol family, but her family disowns her. She wants to succeed by herself and begins with a startup.

“Start-Up” first airs October, 2020 (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Stranger 2.”).
