Kento Yamazaki & Mayu Matsuoka are cast in romance film “Theater” (literal title). The movie is directed by Isao Yukisada and based on 2017 novel “Gekijo” by actor-writer Naoki Matayoshi (“Spark“). In the film Kento Yamazaki plays a theater writer/director Nagata. He falls in love with a woman he meets on the street played by Mayu Matsuoka. Filming for “Theater” began early June, 2019 in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, Japan and is still ongoing.
“Theater” will be released sometime in 2020.
Shori Sato (‘Sexy Zone’) and Kaito Takahashi (‘King & Prince’) are cast in movie “Black School Rules” (literal title). Shori Sato will play the lead male character role and Kaito Takahashi will play the second lead male role. The two lead male actors will play high school students at a school that has unreasonable rules, like requiring students to have black hair. They try to change the school’s rules for a girl they both like. The film will be directed by Shintaro Sugawara and scripted by Kazuya Konomoto. Filming for “Black School Rules” will begin early, August, 2019 and finish September, 2019. The film will then have its general release November 1, 2019 in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “AI Collapse” (literal title) starring starring Takao Osawa. The action-disaster film is written and directed by Yu Irie. In the film, Takao Osawa plays main character Kosuke Kiryu. He develops a groundbreaking AI, but a disaster strikes.

Movie is based on manga series “Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensaitachi no Renai Zunosen” by Aka Akasaka and directed by Hayato Kawai. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Koi-wazurai” by idol group King & Prince, which includes lead actor Sho Hirano as a member. A photo of the group is below. Movie is a remake of 2011 South Korean film “Blind” starring Kim Ha-Neul and Yoo Seung-Ho in the lead roles. The teaser trailer begins with Riho Yoshioka as Natsume Hamanaka screaming for help.
