Hio Miyazawa & Kisetsu Fujiwara cast in movie “His”

Hio Miyazawa & Kisetsu Fujiwara are cast in gay romance film “His.” Screenplay is written by Atsushi Asada (“Penguin Fufu“) and directed by Rikiya Imaizumi (“Little Nights, Little Love“). Also cast in the film are Wakana Matsumoto, Honoka Matsumoto, Sakura Sotomura, Kumi Nakamura, Keiichi Suzuki, Toshie Negishi, Keisuke Horibe and Keiko Toda. The film follows two men who fell in love as high school students, but broke up at the end of their college days. They meet again 6 years later.

“His” will be released January 24, 2020 in Japan.

Visual & supporting performers announced for movie “Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku”

Nanao & Takumi Saito are cast in movie “Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku” starring Mitsuki Takahata and Kento Yamazaki. Movie is based on webcomic “Wotaku ni Koi ha Muzukashii” by Fujita and directed by Yuichi Fukuda. For the film, Nanao will play supporting character Hanako Koyanagi and Takumi Saito will play supporting character Taro Kabakura. Both of the supporting characters works with main characters Narumi Momose (Mitsuki Takahata ) and Hirotaka Nifuji (Kento Yamazaki) at the same office and they are also dating. Above is a visual of the four performers in character.

“Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku” is now scheduled for release February 7, 2020 in Japan.

Main poster & trailer for live-action film “The Flowers of Evil”

Main poster & trailer added for live-action film “The Flowers of Evil” (literal title) starring Kentaro Ito, Tina Tamashiro and Marie Iitoyo. Movie is based on manga series “Aku no Hana” by Shuzo Oshimi (“Sweet Poolside“) and directed by Noboru Iguchi (“The Machine Girl“). Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed, which is “Hana Hikari” by Japanese female rock group Regal Lily. The theme song “Hana Hikari” is played on the trailer. Theme song “Hana Hikari” is featured in the main trailer. Below are still images from the movie.

“The Flowers of Evil” will be released September 27, 2019 in Japan.

Trailer for movie “Closed Ward”

Trailer added for movie “Closed Ward” starring Tsurube Shofukutei, Gou Ayano and Nana Komatsu. Movie is based on 1994 novel “Heisa Byoutou” by Hosei Hahakigi, which 2011 film “Closed Ward” is also based on the same novel. Hideyuki Hirayama directs the movie. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed which is “Hikaru Sora Aoku” by Korean singer K. The song is featured in the trailer.

“Closed Ward” will be released November 1, 2019 in Japan.

Teaser trailer & teaser poster for live-action film “Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight”

Teaser trailer & teaser poster added for live-action film “Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight” starring Ryota Katayose and Kanna Hashimoto. Movie is based on manga series “Gozen 0 ji, Kiss Shi ni Kite yo” by Rin Mikimoto (“Close Range Love“) and directed by Takehiko Shinjo (“Your Lie in April“). Newly announced supporting cast members for the film are Arisa Yagi, Sae Okazaki, Katsuhiro Suzuki, Wakana Sakai, Kenichi Endo, Rihito Noda, Takuma Usa and Shuichiro Naito.

“Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight” is also now set set for release December 6, 2019 in Japan.

Trailer & still images for movie “Blind Witness”

Trailer & still images added for movie “Blind Witness” (literal title) starring Riho Yoshioka and Mahiro Takasugi. Movie is a remake 2011 South Korean film “Blind” starring Kim Ha-Neul and Yoo Seung-Ho. Caption in the trailer at the 2 second mark states “Female high school student, grotesque serial murder case.” The still images below are of Riho Yoshioka, Mahiro Takasugi, Yoshi Sakou and Tomorowo Taguchi.
