Rina Takeda, Shogo Hama, and Toshiyuki Someya are cast in movie “Napoleon and Me.” The film is a fantasy/romantic-comedy with Rina Takeda playing main character Haruko Oohara. She has never known true happiness, but a figure named Napoleon appears and tells her he will help to find happiness.
“Napoleon and Me” will be released sometime this summer in Japan.

Caption on the teaser poster below states “Final experiment of shock begins.” The film is the first feature film in the long running TV Asahi drama series “The Woman of S.R.I.” franchise, that first aired in 1999.

The film is based on manga series “Umibe no Onnanoko” by Inio Asano (“Solanin“) and directed by Atsushi Ueda (“School Girl’s Gestation“). The film is set in a small town on the shore and follows two teens who enter into a casual relationship.

The movie is written and directed by Takahiro Horie. The movie will have Haru Kuroki and Tasuku Emoto playing manga artists and husband and wife. The wife begins to write a new manga dealing with adultery.
