Seika Furuhata is cast in upcoming death-game film “The Werewolf Game: Lovers.” Movie is the fifth installment in the “The Werewolf Game” series. All of the films are based on novel “Jinro Gemu” by Ryo Kawakami. Also cast in supporting roles are Junya Ikeda, Ai Moritaka, Yuki Saso, Yuya Hirata, Megumi Mizoguchi and Koki Maeda. Premise for the film has past contestants in the “The Werewolf Game” taking part in the killing game with new positions of “Cupid” and “Lover” added to the game.

Junpei Mizobata is cast in new live-action film “Hurricane Polymar.” The movie is based on the TV anime series “Hurricane Polymar” which aired on channel NET (now TV Asahi) from 1974-1975. Junpei Mizobata will play main character Takeshi Yoroi. He is a private investigator who came into a possession of a special suit made out of an artificial polymar. With the suit, Takeshi Yoroi turns into Hurrican Polymar – a superhero with the ability to transform into 5 different kinds of vehicles. Also cast in supporting roles are Yuki Yamada,
Mikie Hara & Yurina Yanagi.

Atsushi Arai and Amane Okayama are cast in new movie “Kamisama no Wadachi: Checkpoint of the Life.” Movie is written and directed by Yu Sakudo. In the movie, Atsushi Arai and Amane Okayama play longtime friends who are bicycle enthusiasts. The film will show their interactions with people around Ide, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.

Teaser trailer added for upcoming live-action film “Blade of the Immortal” starring Takuya Kimura & Hana Sugisaki. Filming for the movie took place in Kyoto, Japan from November, 2015 through January, 2016. The climax scene involving Manji (Takuya Kimura) taking on 300 men took 15 days to film.

Mahiro Takasugi is cast in upcoming live-action film “ReLIFE” starring Taishi Nakagawa and Yuna Taira. For live-action film “ReLIFE,” Mahiro Takasugi will play Kazuomi Oga. His character is a high school honor student. Story for the film revolves around a 27-year-old man (Taishi Nakagawa) who takes part in an experiment that makes him look much younger and he attends high school for a year.

Movie is based on manga series “Shinjuku Swan Kabukicho Skauto Sabaibaru” by Ken Wakui. Story for “Shinjuku Swan 2” has Tatsuhiko Shiratori (“Gou Ayano”) moving out to Yokohama from Shinjuku. He runs afoul of the CEO of a scouting company there played by Tadanobu Asano.
Release date for “Shinjuku Swan 2” has now been set for January 21, 2017 in Japan.
Atsushi Ito is cast in new movie “Neko Atsume no Ie.” The movie is based on the video game “Neko Atsume” which was developed by Hit-Point for iOS and Android phones. Movie is directed by Masatoshi Kurakata & screenplay by Yuji Nagamori. In the upcoming movie, Atsushi Ito will play main character Masaru Sakumoto. He is a successful novelist, but going through a severe case of writer’s block. He decides to move into a new home for inspiration and becomes involved with cats that come into his yard.
