Haru Kuroki and Shuhei Nomura cast in movie “Biburia Koshodo no Jiken Techo”

Haru Kuroki and Shuhei Nomura are cast in movie “Biburia Koshodo no Jiken Techo.” Movie is set based on the novel series “Biblia Koshodo no Jiken Techou” novels by En Mikami. 2013 Fuji TV drama series “Antiquarian Bookshop Biblia’s Case Files,” starring Ayame Gouriki and Akira, is also based on the same novel series. For the movie version, Haru Kuroki plays Shioriko Shinokawa. She is an extremely shy person, but, when it comes to old books, her knowledge is expansive and she can’t stop talking about them. Shuhei Nomura will play Daisuke Goura. He works as a clerk at the bookstore owned by Shioriko Shinokawa. Movie is directed by Yukiko Mishima.

“Biburia Koshodo no Jiken Techo” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Takayuki Yamada and Masami Nagasawa cast in remake film “50th First Kiss”

Takayuki Yamada and Masami Nagasawa are cast in remake film “50th First Kiss” (literal title). The film is a remake of 2004 U.S. film “50 First Dates” starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Filming for “50th First Kiss” took place in Hawaii and finished in about a month. Story for “50th First Kiss” has Takayuki Yamada playing tour guide Daisuke Yuge. He falls in love with Rui Fujishima (Masami Nagasawa) on fist sight, but Rui Fujishima though suffers from memory loss due to a past accident. Movie will be directed by Yuichi Fukuda.

“50th First Kiss” opens June 1, 2018 in Japan.

Teaser trailer and still images for movie “Revenge Girl” starring Mirei Kiritani and Nobuyuki Suzuki. Meanwhile, here’s still images from the movie which taken on September 27, 2017. Story for “Revenge Girl” has Mirei Kiritani playing Miki Takaraishi. Her character is running for the prime minister position to get revenge on her boyfriend who dumped her. Movie is based on 2017 novel “Revenge Girl” by Erika Yoshida.

“Revenge Girl” opens December 23, 2017 in Japan.

Teaser trailer for movie “Laplace’s Witch”

Teaser trailer for movie “Laplace’s Witch” starring Sho Sakurai, Suzu Hirose and Sota Fukushi. Movie is based on 2015 novel “Rapurasu no Majo” by Keigo Higashino and directed by Takashi Miike. In addition, supporting cast of Tao, Masanobu Takashima, Mirai Shida, Eriko Sato, Rei Dan, Hiroshi Tamaki, Lily Franky and Etsushi Toyokawa have all been announced to appear in the film.

“Laplace’s Witch” will be released during Golden Week, 2018 in Japan.

Supporting cast for TV Asahi drama series “BG: Personal Bodyguard”

Supporting cast has been announced for upcoming TV Asahi drama series “BG: Personal Bodyguard” starring Takuya Kimura. Cast in supporting roles are Takumi Saito, Nanao, Shotaro Mamiya, Takaya Kamikawa, Yosuke Eguchi and Yuriko Ishida. Story for the drama series follows Akira Shimazaki (Takuya Kimura) as he begins work as a bodyguard again. For the supporting characters, Takumi Saito will play Masaya Takanashi. He works at the same private security company as Akira Shimazaki (Takuya Kimura). He’s very good at his job and tends to look down on others because of it. Nanao will play Mayu Suganuma. She is the only female bodyguard working at the private security company. Shotaro Mamiya will play Seitaro Sawaguchi. He is the youngest bodyguard at the private security company.

“BG: Personal Bodyguard” first airs January, 2018 in Japan.

Haru Kuroki cast in movie “Nichinichikorekojitsu”

Haru Kuroki is cast for the lead role in upcoming movie “Nichinichikorekojitsu.” Kirin Kiki and Mikako Tabe are also cast for supporting roles in the movie. Movie is based on the essay “Nichinichikorekojitsu: Ocha ga Oshietekureta 15 no Shiawase” by Noriko Morishita  and directed by Tatsushi Omori. Story for “Nichinichikorekojitsu” follows a college age girl played by Haru Kuroki who begins taking lessons on the Japanese tea ceremony. “Nichinichikorekojitsu” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
