Main trailer for movie “Love × Doc”

Main trailer added for movie “Love × Doc” starring Yo Yoshida, Shuhei Nomura, Hiroshi Tamaki and Kotaro Yoshida. The film follows a 40 year old pastry chef (Yo Yoshida) and her relationship with a much younger pastry chef (Shuhei Nomura) who likes her. This brings back memories of her disaster when she dated a store owner (Kotaro Yoshida) and a personal trainer (Hiroshi Tamaki). The film is based on an original screenplay by Osamu Suzuki and also directed by him.

“Love × Doc” will be released May 11, 2018 in Japan.

Taiki Sato, Rina Kawaei, Yua Shinkawa cast in live-action film “Sensei Kunshu”

Taiki Sato (‘EXILE’ & ‘FANTASTICS’), Rina Kawaei, Yua Shinkawa and Riko Fukumoto are cast in supporting roles for upcoming live-action film “Sensei Kunshu.” Ryoma Takeuchi and Minami Hamabe play lead characters in the film, which were announced previously. For the supporting characters:

Taiki Sato plays Kotake Sawada. He is the childhood friend of Ayuha Samaru (Minami Hamabe) and he likes her secretly.

Rina Kawaei plays Aoi Nakamura. She is friends with Ayuha Samaru and she is an otaku.

Yua Shinkawa plays Aika Saimon. She is childhood friends with Yoshitaka Hiromitsu (Ryoma Takeuchi) and she is pianist.

Riko Fukumoto plays Kaho.

In addition, “Sensei Kunshu” is now scheduled to be released August 1, 2018 in Japan. “Sensei Kunshu” is based on manga “Sensei Kunshu” by Momoko Koda.

Ryoko Shinohara and Kyoko Yoshine cast in movie “Kyo mo Iyagarase Bento”

Ryoko Shinohara and Kyoko Yoshine are cast as mother and daughter in movie “Kyo mo Iyagarase Bento.” The movie is based on an essay “Kyo mo Iyagarase Bento” by blogger Ttkk. Movie will be directed by Renpei Tsukamoto. In the film, Ryoko Shinohara and Kyoko Yoshine play mother and daughter. Their relationship isn’t so good with the daughter going through a rebellious phase. The mother tries to communicate with her daughter by creating messages in her daughter’s bento meals.

Filming for “Kyo mo Iyagarase Bento” begins at the end of this month on Hachijo Island, Japan.

Teaser trailer for movie “Zenigata”

Teaser trailer for movie “Zenigata” starring Ryohei Otani and Katsuya Kobayashi. The film is set at small restaurant/bar “Zenigata.” Its run by Tomio (Ryohei Otani) and his younger brother Shizuka (Katsuya Kobayashi). At midnight, “Zenigata” turns from a bar into a money lender operation.

“Zenigata” will be released May 26, 2018 in Japan.

Teaser trailer for movie “Nakimushi Shottan no Kiseki”

Teaser trailer for movie “Nakimushi Shottan no Kiseki” starring Ryuhei Matsuda and Yojiro Noda (‘Radwimps’). The film is based on autobiographical novel “Nakimushi Shottan no Kiseki” by Shoji Segawa and directed by Toshiaki Toyoda. Movie is based the life shogi play Shoji Segawa.

In addition, supporting cast members have been announced for the film. Now cast in supporting roles are Kento Nagayama, Shota Sometani, Kiyohiko Shibukawa, Ryusuke Komakine, Hirofumi Arai, Taichi Saotome, Satoshi Tsumabuki, Takako Matsu, Issey Ogata, Kaoru Kobayashi, Jun Miho and Jun Kunimura.

“Nakimushi Shottan no Kiseki” will be released sometime this autumn in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “The Travelling Cat Chronicles”

Teaser trailer and poster added for upcoming movie “The Travelling Cat Chronicles” (English title) starring Sota Fukushi. Movie is based on novel “Tabineko Ripoto” by Hiro Arikawa and directed by Koichiro Miki. Story for the film follows a young man (Sota Fukushi) who goes on the road with his cat to find it a new home. In addition, Mitsuki Takahata is to voice the cat named Nana.

“The Travelling Cat Chronicles” will be released October 26, 2018 in Japan.
