Yo Oizumi, Mitsuki Takahata & Haruma Miura cast in movie “Konna Yofuke ni Banana kayo: Kanashiki Jitsuwa”

Yo Oizumi, Mitsuki Takahata & Haruma Miura are cast in based-on-a-true-story film “Konna Yofuke ni Banana kayo: Kanashiki Jitsuwa.” The film deals with a love triangle between a medical student (Haruma Miura), his girlfriend medical student (Mitsuki Takahata) and a hospital patient (Yo Oizumi) with muscular dystrophy who likes the female medical student. Movie is based on non-fiction novel “Konna Yofuke ni Banana kayo” by Kazufumi Watanabe and directed by Tetsu Maeda.

“Konna Yofuke ni Banana kayo: Kanashiki Jitsuwa” will be released winter, 2018 in Japan.

Taishi Nakagawa cast in live-action film “Are You Ready? Hey You Girl!”

Taishi Nakagawa is cast for the lead role in live-action film “Are You Ready? Hey You Girl!” The film is based on manga series “Kakugo wa Iika Soko no Joshi” by Nana Shiiba and directed by Noboru Iguchi. In the film Taishi Nakagawa will play high school student Towa Furuya. He is a good looking guy, but has never had a girlfriend. He pursues a girl who is popular with guys, but has turned them all down.

“Are You Ready? Hey You Girl!” will be released October 12, 2018 in Japan.

Trailer for live-action film “Bleach”

Main trailer for live-action film “Bleach” starring Sota Fukushi and Hana Sugisaki. With the release of the main trailer, the theme song for the movie has been revealed which is “Mosquito Bite” by Japanese rock band Alexandros. The theme song plays in the main trailer as well.

“Bleach” opens July 20, 2018 in Japan.

Yurina Hirate cast in live-action film “Hibiki”

Yurina Hirate (‘Keyakizaka46’) is cast for the lead role in live-action film “Hibiki.” Also cast in supporting roles are Keiko Kitagawa, Ayaka Wilson, Masanobu Takashima, Yuya Yagira, Toru Nomaguchi, Kazushige Komatsu, Daisuke Kuroda and Mizuki Itagaki. Movie is based on manga series “Hibiki: Shousetsuka ni Naru Houhou” by Mitsuharu Yanamoto and directed by Sho Tsukikawa (“Let Me Eat Your Pancreas“). The film follows 15-year-old Hibiki Akui (Yurina Hirate) as she submits a manuscript for a rookie of the year novel award and an editor (Keiko Kitagawa) that takes an interest in her novel.

“Hibiki” will be released September 14, 2018 in Japan via Toho.

Trailer for movie “Uma no Hone”

Trailer for movie “Uma no Hone” starring Fujiko Kojima and Koji Kiryu. Movie is also written and directed by Koji Kiryu. The film follows a former punk rock singer (now a middle-aged man) and an idol group member who wants to become a singer-songwriter.

“Uma no Hone” will be released June 2, 2018 in Japan.
