Mizuki Inoue & Atsuhiro Inukai are cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Nare no Hate no Bokura.” The drama series is based on manga series “Nare no Hate no Bokura” by Yae Utsumi. Story for “Nare no Hate no Bokura” will be set an elementary school reunion. Mikio Yumesaki (Atsuhiro Inukai) begins a cruel experiment there by confining his former classmates over a 3 day period.

Keiko Kitagawa & Riho Yoshioka are cast in WOWOW drama series “Rakujitsu.” The drama series is based on 2019 novel “Rakujitsu” by Kanae Minato (“Confessions“), screenplay adaptation by Eriko Shinozaki (“The Black Swindler“), and directed by Eiji Uchida (“Offbeat Cops“). The mystery drama series will have Keiko Kitagawa play movie director Kaori Hasebe and Riho Yoshioka play screenwriter Chihiro Kai. The two main characters work together on a movie based on a family murder case that took place 15 years ago.

Kippei Shiina is cast for the lead role in WOWOW drama series “Jiken.” The drama series is based on 1977 novel “Jiken” by Shohei Ooka, which was previously adapted into 1978 movie “The Incident” starring Keiko Matsuzaka . The screenplay for WOWOW drama series “Jiken” will have a 19 year old man on trial for murder. He previously confessed to the crime. Kippei Shiina will play Attorney Daisaburo Kikuchi. Sosuke Ikematsu, Taiga Nakano, and Daichi Watanabe are cast in Disney+ drama series “Kisetsu no Nai Machi.” The drama series is based on 1962 novel “Kisetsu no Nai Machi” by Shugoro Yamamoto, which was previously adapted into 1970 movie “Dodesukaden” by Akira Kurosawa. Kankuro Kudo writes and directs the Disney+ drama series version. The story is set within an area of temporary housing that was built after a disaster 12 years earlier.
“Kisetsu no Nai Machi” will have all 10 episodes available to stream from August 9, 2023.
