If Lee Seung-Gi accepts the offer, he will play Son O-Gong. The drama series is a reinterpretation of Chinese novel “Journey to the West,” but set in the present day and scripted by sisters Hong Jung-Eun and Hong Mi-Ran. The character of Son O-Gong is based off the character of Sun Wukong in the original novel.
