Lee Hong-Ki cast in tvN drama series “Hwayuki”

Lee Hong-Ki from ‘F.T. Island’ is cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Hwayuki” starring Cha Seung-Won and Oh Yeon-Seo. Actor Lee Seung-Gi is still considering an offer to play the lead male character and Yoon Bo-Ra from ‘Sistar’ is considering an offer to play a supporting female character.

For the drama series, Lee Hong-Ki will play P.K. His character is Zhu Bajie in the original classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West” which the drama series is based on. P.K is scripted as a top star and he gets various information based on his popularity and social skills. With the information he comes and goes between Son O-Gong and Woo Hwi-Cheol (Cha Seung-Won).”Hwayuki” will first air December, 2017 in South korea.

First script reading for tvN drama special “Assistant Manager B and Love Letter”

First script reading for tvN drama special “Assistant Manager B and Love Letter” took place September 29, 2017 at Studio Dragon in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. At the first script reading, Song Ji-Hyo, Jo Woo-Jin and other main cast members attended. In the drama series, Song Ji-Hyo plays assistant manager at a shoe company. She receives an anonymous love letter and tries to find the sender. Jo Woo-Jin plays Sim Byung-Sun. He is the assistant manager’s boss.

“Assistant Manager B and Love Letter” will air sometime this December in South Korea.

Choi Ji-Woo offered leading role in tvN drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World”

Choi Ji-Woo has been offered a leading role in upcoming tvN drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World.” Won Mi-Kyung and Kim Young-Ok are already cast in the drama series. Currently, Choi Ji-Woo is considering the offer.

The drama series is a remake of 1996 MBC drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye.” 2011 movie “The Last Blossom” is also a remake of the 1996 MBC drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye.” No Hee-Kyung, who wrote the original screenplay for the 1996 MBC drama series, will write the screenplay for tvN’s new version.

“The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World” will first air this December in South Korea.

Cha Seung-Won cast in tvN drama series “Hwayuki”

Actor Cha Seung-Won is now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Hwayuki.” He will reunite with screenwriters Hong Jung-Eun and Hong Mi-Ran whom he previously worked with in 2011 MBC drama series “The Greatest Love.” For the drama series, Cha Seung-Won will play King Wooma (Bull Demon King). He is the CEO of a top entertainment company and more famous than the entertainers signed to his company. Currently, Lee Seung-Gi and Oh Yeon-Seo are still considering offers to play leading characters in the drama series.

“Hwayuki” will first air this December in South Korea.

Two main posters for tvN drama series “Revolutionary Love”

Here’s two main posters for upcoming tvN drama series “Revolutionary Love” starring Choi Si-Won and Kang So-Ra. The posters features main cast members Choi Si-Won, Kang So-Ra and Gong Myung. In the drama series, Choi Si-Won plays Byun-Hyuk. He comes from a very wealthy family, but he suddenly has to work to support himself. Kang So-Ra plays Baek Joon. She works part-time jobs to support herself even though she graduated from a prestigious university. Gong Myung plays Kwon Je-Hoon. He works very hard to become successful.

Three main posters for tvN drama series “Because This Is My First Life”

Here’s 3 main posters for upcoming tvN drama series “Because This Is My First Life” starring Lee Min-Ki and Jung So-Min. Two of the posers features Lee Min-Ki and Jung So-Min, while a third poster shows 3 couples from the drama series. The three couples are (top) Jung So-Min and Lee Min-Ki, (middle) Esom and Park Byung-Eun and (bottom) Kim Ga-Eun and Kim Min-Suk.

First script reading for tvN drama special “Picnic Day”

First script reading for upcoming tvN drama special “Picnic Day” took place recently in South Korea. At the first script reading, main cast members including Kim Dong-Wan (‘Shinhwa’) ,Kim Hye-In, Nam Moon-Chul, Jeon Bae-Su, and Ko Kyu-Pil. Story for the drama special is set at company “Picnic Day” which goes to the homes of recently deceased people to clean and pack. The drama special is also part of tvN’s OPEN series which will feature 10 specials showcasing talented new story tellers.

“Picnic Day” will air sometime this December in South Korea.

Character teasers for tvN drama series “Avengers Social Club”

Character teaser trailers added for upcoming tvN drama series “Avengers Social Club” (literal title “Buam-dong Revengers”). The character teaser trailers are of Lee Yo-Won as Kim Jung-Hye, Ra Mi-Ran as Hong Do-Hee and Myung Se-Bin as Lee Mi-Sook. The three women are part of a group that takes out revenge on others. “Avengers Social Club” is based on webcomic “Buam-dong Boksooja Soshyeolkeurub” by Sajatokki.

First script reading for tvN drama series “Revolutionary Love”

First script reading for tvN drama series “Revolutionary Love” took place September 10, 2017 at CJ E&M Center in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Choi Si-Won (‘Super Junior’), Kang So-Ra, Gong Myung, Lee Jae-Yoon, Choi Jae-Sung, Kyeon Mi-Ri, Lee Han-Wi and Kim Ye-Won all attended.

Prior to the first script reading, Choi Si-Won stated that “This is my first performance since being discharged from the military. I have a pleasing pressure, but I will do my best.” Kang So-Ra stated that “I have a good feeling and good energy about the script. I will do my best.”
