First script reading for tvN drama series “Touch Your Heart”

The first script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “Touch Your Heart” (English title), starring Lee Dong-Wook & Yoo In-Na, took place November 27, 2018. The first script reading included main cast members Lee Dong-Wook, Yoo In-Na, Shin Dong-Wook, Shim Hyung-Tak, Lee Joon-Hyuk, Son Sung-Yoon and Jang So-Yeon all in attendance. The screenplay features actress Oh Yoon-Seo (Yoo In-Na) wanting to land an acting role and she begins to work as the secretary for Lawyer Kwon Jung-Rok’s (Lee Dong-Wook) secretary to prepare for that role.

“Touch Your Heart” first airs January, 2019 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 PM time slot after “Encounter“).

Teaser trailer #3 for tvN drama series “The Crowned Clown”

Teaser trailer #3 added for tvN drama series “The Crowned Clown” starring Yeo Jin-Goo and  Lee Se-Young. Teaser trailer #3 has Lee Se-Young appearing for the first time as Queen Yoo So-Woon. She provides narration at the 20 second mark of the teaser and states in Korean “Finally… I became to like highness.” Meanwhile, above is the second teaser poster for “The Crowned Clown.” The teaser poster features Yeo Jin-Goo standing in the foreground and Kim Sang-Kyung standing behind him. Caption on the bottom of the poster states in Korean “Clown becomes a King.” Drama series is a remake of 2012 movie “Masquerade.”

“Romance is a Bonus Book” set as English title for tvN drama series

According to tvN, “Romance is a Bonus Book” has been set as the official English title for upcoming tvN drama series starring Lee Jong-Suk and Lee Na-Young. The English title is also the literal title for the drama series (“로맨스는 별책부록”). Previously, tvN selected “How To Publish Love” as the English title for the drama, but after further discussions tvN has decided to go with “Romance is a Bonus Book.”

“Romance is a Bonus Book”  will first air January 26, 2019 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Memories of the Alhambra“).

Supporting cast for tvN drama series “That Psychometric Guy”

Supporting cast has been announced for upcoming tvN drama series “That Psychometric Guy” starring  Jin Young (GOT7) and Shin Ye-Eun. Now cast in supporting roles are Dasom (ex-‘Sistar’ member), Noh Jong-Hyun, Jang Eui-Su and Ko Yoon-Jung. Kim Kwon was previously announced cast for the drama series in a major supporting character role. For the drama series, Dasom will play major supporting character Eun Ji-Soo. She works as a detective and she is full of pride & passion for her work . She became a detective, because of respect for her father who is a senior police superintendent.

“That Psychometric Guy” first airs sometime during the first half of 2019 in South Korea.

Main poster and gosa ceremony for tvN drama series “The Crowned Clown”

Here’s a main poster for upcoming tvN drama series “The Crowned Clown” starring Yeo Jin-Goo and Lee Se-Young. Drama series is a remake of 2012 film “Masquerade” starring Lee Byung-Hun and Han Hyo-Joo.

Meanwhlie, below are photos from the traditional gosa ceremony for the drama series. The gosa ceremony took place November 30, 2018 on set in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province. The ceremony is a shamanistic ritual to prevent misfortune and bring good fortune. At the ceremony,  Yeo Jin-Goo stated “It’s the first time for me that I am shaking like this. I will do my best always.” Lee Se-Young stated “I hope nobody gets hurt in the drama series. I feel gratitude for working with such excellent senior actors, actresses and staff member. I will do my best.”

“The Crowned Clown” first airs January 7, 2019 in South Korea.

Jin Young cast in tvN drama series “That Psychometric Guy”

Jin Young from boy band “Got7” is cast in tvN drama series “That Psychometric Guy” (literal title) co-starring Shin Ye-Eun. Jin Young will play lead male character Lee An. The character of Lee An has a special psychometric ability. Whenever he touches someone, he can read their memories. Genre for the drama series will feature a mixture of fantasy, romance, thriller and will be directed by Kim Byung-Soo (“The Bride of Habaek“/”A Korean Odyssey “)

“That Psychometric Guy” first airs sometime during the first half of 2019 in South Korea.

The upcoming drama series is a remake of 2012 movie “Masquerade” starring Lee Byung-Hun in the dual roles of the King and a clown. Ji Jin-Hee offered lead role in tvN drama series “Designated Survivor”

Ji Jin-Hee has been offered the lead role in new tvN drama series “Designated Survivor.” The drama series is a remake of U.S. TV series “Designated Survivor” starring Kiefer Sutherland. Currently, Ji Jin-Hee is considering his offer. If he accepts, Ji Jin-Hee will play main character Park Moo-Jin. He holds the Minister of Environment government position, but an explosion at a Presidential speech kills all higher ranking government officers. Park Moo-Jin then becomes the President for the next 60 days and he works to find who is responsible for the explosion.
