Character teaser and character posters for OCN drama series “Mistress”

Character teaser trailer added for upcoming OCN drama series “Mistress” starring Han Ga-In, Shin Hyun-Bin, Choi Hee-Seo and Goo Jae-Yee. The character teaser trailer features all four female leads in the trailer. In addition, here’s the main poster (above) and character posters of the four female leads (below).

Choi Hee-Seo’s character poster has captions on the right side that says in Korean “Han Jung-Won whose life changed due to a mistake from one night… what did I do?….”

Character teaser trailers for upcoming OCN drama series “Mistress” starring Han Ga-In, Shin Hyun-Bin, Choi Hee-Seo and Goo Jae-Yee. The character teasers are of Goo Jae-Yee as Do Hwa-Young and Han Ga-In as Jan Se-Yeon.

In the Goo Jae-Yee character teaser, she states in the voice over towards the end of the teaser “What is life? Look, there’s nothing after death.”

For Han Ga-In’s character teaser, she states in the voice over “I got a phone call from my husband who died 2 years ago.”

Here’s the first still images of Han Ga-In in upcoming OCN drama series “Mistress.” In the drama series, Han Ga-In plays Jan Se-Yeon. She has lived with just her daughter since her husband went missing 2 years ago in a ship accident. She runs a cafe and she thinks her husband might still be alive. Drama series is a remake of UK television series “Mistresses.”

Park Sung-Woong and Ko Ah-Sung cast in OCN drama series “Life on Mars”

Park Sung-Woong and Ko Ah-Sung are cast in OCN drama series “Life on Mars” co-starring Jung Kyoung-Ho. The drama series is a remake of UK television series “Life on Mars.” For the drama series, Park Sung-Woong will play Kang Dong-Cheol in the year 1988. He is a veteran detective and relies on his instincts during investigations. Ko Ah-Sung will play Yoon Na-Young in the year 1988. She is introduced to profiling through Han Tae-Joo (Jung Kyoung-Ho) who has traveled through time from the present days.

“Life on Mars” will first air June, 2018 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 10:20 PM time slot after “Mistress“).

First script reading for OCN drama series “Mistress”

First script reading for OCN drama series “Mistress” took place March 15, 2018 at Studio Dragon in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. The drama series is a remake of UK television series “Mistresses.” At the first script reading, main cast members including Han Ga-InShin Hyun-BinChoi Hee-SeoGoo Jae-YeeLee Hee-JoonPark Byung-EunOh Jung-Se and Ji Il-Joo all attended.

Teaser trailer for OCN drama series “Mistress”

Teaser trailer added for upcoming OCN drama series “Mistress” starring Han Ga-In. In the drama series, Han Ga-In plays Jan Se-Yeon. After her husband died in accident, she has lived with her daughter. She begins to receive phone calls and mysterious things take place around her. The drama series will revolve around 4 women including Jan Se-Yeon (Han Ga-In), Kim Eun-Soo (Shin Hyun-Bin), Han Jung-Won (Choi Hee-Seo) and Do Hwa-Young (Goo Jae-Yee). “Mistress” is a remake of BBC One drama series of same name.

“Mistress” will first air April 28, 2018 and consist of 12 episodes.

Song Ji-Hyo and Chun Jung-Myung cast in OCN drama series “Romantic Comedy King”

Song Ji-Hyo and Chun Jung-Myung are cast for OCN drama series “Romantic Comedy King” (working & literal title). The drama series is based on manga “Zettai Kareshi” by Yuu Watase, which was previously adapted into 2008 Fuji TV drama series “Absolute Boyfriend.”

In the drama series, Song Ji-Hyo will play lead female character Da-Da. She works as a special effects make-up artist. She has an android robot as a boyfriend. Chun Jung-Myung will play lead male character Ma Wang-Joon. He is a popular actor and likes Da-Da.

OCN has decided to air the drama series and the drama series will air sometime during the first half of this year on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9PM.

Lee Jin-Wook offered lead role in OCN drama series “Voice 2”

Lee Jin-Wook has been offered the lead male role OCN sequel drama series “Voice 2.” Lee Ha-Na and Son Eun-Seo, who appeared in season 1 of “Voice,” have received offers to reprise their respective roles. If Lee Jin-Wook accepts, he will play new character Do Gang-Woo. His character is a detective and experienced a painful past relating to his family. Jang Hyuk played the lead male character in “Voice,” but he elected to not appear in the sequel.

“Voice 2” will air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Supporting actor Jo Min-Gi drops out of OCN drama series “Children of A Lesser God”

Supporting actor Jo Min-Gi has dropped out of upcoming OCN drama series “Children of A Lesser God.” The actor worked as an associate professor at Cheongju University for years, but the Korean media reported on February 20, 2018 that he was suspended by the university for 3 months due to sexual harassment & sexual assault claims by female students. Jo Min-Gi initially denied the claims, but more claims against Jo Min-Gi then came out overnight by present and past students. On February 21, 2018, the police announced that they have launched a formal investigation into the claims. Because of this, Jo Min-Gi and the drama series “Children of A Lesser God” have mutually agreed to part ways. All of Jo Min-Gi’s filmed scenes will be removed from the drama series. Jo Min-Gi was initially cast to play Kook Han-Joo. His character was a presidential candidate for an opposition party. Staff from the drama series is now determining whether to just remove his character or cast someone else to play the character.

“Children of A Lesser God” will now first air March 3, 2018 in South Korea. The drama series was originally scheduled to to air February 24, 2018.
