The sci-fi-fantasy-action film is written and directed by Choi Dong-Hoon (“Woochi“). The teaser trailer begins with a large spacecraft appearing over a city in the present day. Kim Tae-Ri’s voice that states “Since a long time ago, aliens have trapped their prisoners in human bodies.”

The teaser trailer and poster also reveals that “Alienoid” will be released July 20, 2022 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Our Blues” starring Lee Byung-Hun, Shin Min-A, Han Ji-Min, & Kim Woo-Bin. The drama series is set on Jeju island and features an impressive ensemble cast, which are shown in the trailer. Lee Byung-Hun in the teaser trailer drives around in a truck selling tofu.

“Our Blues” is now set to first air April 9, 2022  in South Korea, taking over tvN’s Saturday & Sunday 9:10 PM time slot after “Twenty Five Twenty One.”

Kim Woo-Bin, Esom, & Kang You-Seok cast in Netflix drama “Black Knight”

Kim Woo-BinEsom, and Kang You-Seok are cast in Netflix drama series “Black Knight.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Taekbaegisa” by Lee Yoon-Kyun and directed by Cho Ui-Seok. Director Cho Ui-Seok and actor Kim Woo-Bin previously worked together for 2016 movie “Master.” The drama series is set in a dystopian future, where people rarely leave their homes due to air pollution. Society has come to rely on delivery drivers known as knights to receive basic supplies.

Streaming date for “Black Knight” has not yet been announced.

Main cast announced for new drama “Our Blues”

Lee Byung-HunShin Min-ACha Seung-WonLee Jung-Eun, Han Ji-MinKim Woo-Bin and Uhm Jung-Hwa are cast in drama series “Our Blues” (literal title). The drama series is scripted by No Hee-Kyung and directed by Kim Kyu-Tae. No Hee-Kyung and Kim Kyu-Tae have previously worked together in 2008 KBS2 drama series “Worlds Within……,” 2011 JTBC drama series “Padam Padam,” 2013 SBS drama series “That Winter, The Wind Blows,” and 2014 SBS drama series “It’s Ok, This is Love.” The ensemble drama series is set on Jeju Island and filming will take place there too.

“Our Blues” will air sometime next year, but exact date and broadcasting station has not yet been decided.

Filming finishes & first still image for movie “Alien”

Filming finishes April 19, 2021 and first still image released for movie “Alien” starring Ryoo Joon-Yeol, Kim Tae-Ri, So Ji-Sub, & Kim Woo-Bin. Filming for the movie began back on March 29, 2020 and the movie took 13 months to finish. Movie is directed by Choi Dong-Hoon (“Tazza“/”Woochi“/”The Thieves“). He stated that “Filming finished after 387 days. It was the most difficult movie to film for me and it had the most ups and downs. But, now I think its the movie with the greatest joy for me. I hope the staff, who worked hard with me, would watch the movie later and have fun.”

“Alien” will be released in two parts, but release dates have not yet been set.

Kim Woo-Bin recently diagnosed with cancer

Popular actor Kim Woo-Bin has been recently diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer according to his management company Sidus HQ. Kim Woo-Bin has already begun receiving treatment for his cancer which includes chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Obviously, his acting career will be placed on hold until he becomes healthy. Filming for movie “Wiretap” starring Lee Jung-Jae and Kim Woo-Bin was scheduled to begin August, 2017, but that film has postponed shooting until Kim Woo-Bin recovers.
