Teaser poster and release date for movie “Gentleman”

Teaser poster and release date set for movie “Gentleman” starring Ju Ji-Hoon, Park Sung-Woong, & Choi Sung-Eun. The film will be released December 28, 2022 via online video platform Wavve. The movie follows Ju jI-Hoon who plays Private Detective Ji Hyun-Soo. Through a series of circumstances, he finds himself the suspect of a kidnapping and then he impersonates a prosecutor to uncover the truth. Caption on the teaser poster asks “Do I need manners to catch a bad man?”

Ju Ji-Hoon & Han Hyo-Joo cast in drama “Dominant Species”

Ju Ji-Hoon & Han Hyo-Joo are cast for leads roles in new drama series “Dominant Species” (literal title). Also cast for major supporting character roles in the drama series are Lee Hee-Jun, Lee Mu-Saeng, & Park Ji-Yeon. The drama series is scripted by Lee Soo-Yeon, whose past credits include tvN drama series “Stranger” and Disney+ drama series “Grid.” The screenplay for “Dominant Species” is set in the future, where people no longer eat meat and, instead, eat genetically modified cultured meat. The company that dominates the market for this is BF. Han Hyo-Joo will play Yoon Ja-Yoo, the CEO of BF. Ju Ji-Hoon will play Woo Chae-Woon. He has comes from a military background and now works as a bodyguard.

“Dominant Species” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #3 added for tvN drama series “Jirisan” starring Gianna Jun & Ju Ji-Hoon. Above is a main poster for the upcoming drama series with captions that teases “The place that meets the sky. Boundary between this life and the afterlife.” The place in the poster refers to Jiri Mountain, where the drama series is set.

Jirsan first airs October 23, 2021 in South Korea.

In addition, ep.1 is now scheduled to air October 23, 2021 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday & Sunday 9M time slot after “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha“). Choi Sung-Eun cast in movie “Gentleman”

Choi Sung-Eun is cast for the lead female role in movie “Gentleman” co-starring Ju Ji-Hoon. She replaces Han So-Hee, who had to drop out of the movie due to general fatigue. Filming for the movie will begin this month. For the movie, Choi Sung-Eun will play Kim Hwa-Jin. Her character works as a prosecutor and she helps Ji Hyun-Soo (Ju Ji-Hoon) as he tries to clear his name. 

“Gentleman” will be released May, 2022 in South Korea.

Still images for tvN drama series “Jiri Mountain”

Here’s still images from tvN drama series “Jiri Mountain” starring Gianna Jun & Ju Ji-Hoon. The photo above is the first from the filming set that shows Gianna Jun and Ju Ji-Hoon appearing together. Meanwhile, filming for the drama series has been paused until December 20, 2020 due to the rise of Covid-19 cases.

Gianna Jun & Ju Ji-Hoon cast in drama series “Jiri Mountain”

Gianna Jun & Ju Ji-Hoon are cast in drama series “Jiri Mountain” (literal title of “Jirisan”). The drama series is scripted by Kim Eun-Hee (previously worked with actor Ju Ji-Hoon in Netflix drama series “Kingdom” & “Kingdom Season 2“) and directed by Lee Eung-Bok (“Mr. Sunshine“). For the drama series, Gianna Jun and Ju Ji-Hoon will play rangers who work together at Jiri Mountain National Park.

Filming will begin September, 2020 in South Korea. The network which will screen the drama series has yet to be decided.
