Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Sheep In The Box”

Teaser trailer and teaser poster added for movie “Sheep In The Box” starring Haruka Ayase & Daigo. Movie is written and directed by Hirokazu Koreeda (“Nobody Knows“). Meanwhile, child actor Rimu Kuwaki is cast to play a humanoid that is adopted by Otone Komoto (Haruka Ayase) and Kensuke Komoto (Daigo). He landed the role after taking part in an audition involving 200 other applicants. Caption in the teaser trailer states at the 24 second mark “A couple lost their son and adopted a humanoid robot.”

“Sheep In The Box” is now set for release May 29, 2026 in Japan.

Haruka Ayase is cast for the lead role in movie “Hito wa Naze Love Letter wo Kaku noka.” The film is scripted by and directed by Yuya Ishii (“The Great Passage“) and also based on a true story. Haruka Ayase and Daigo cast in movie “Sheep In The Box”

Haruka Ayase and Daigo, from comedy duo “Chidori,” are cast in movie “Sheep In The Box.” The film is written and directed by award winning director Hirokazu Koreeda (“Air Doll“). The script is set sometime in the near future. Haruka Ayase and Daigo will play a married couple for the movie. They decide to welcome a humanoid into their home as their son. Filming for the movie began this month. The title of the movie is inspired by the French children’s novel “The Little Prince.”

“Sheep In The Box” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Trailer and poster added for action film “Revolver Lily” starring Haruka Ayase. Movie is based on 2016 novel “Revolver Lily” by Kyo Nagaura and directed by Isao Yukisada (“Narratage“). The film is set in the year 1924 and follows a former spy now bar owner Yuri (Haruka Ayase) who becomes the target of 1,000 soldiers. Caption on the poster states “I become evil to save the future.”

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “The Legend & Butterfly” starring Takuya Kimura & Haruka Ayase. The film is set during the warring states period. Takuya Kimura and Haruka Ayase play real life historical figures Nobunaga Oda and Nohime. The two married through a political marriage and eventually went on to unify the entire country.

Movie is based on 2005 novel “Hai, Oyogemasen” by Hidemine Takahashi and directed by Kensaku Watanabe (“Cheer Cheer Cheer!“). The teaser trailer begins with Hiroki Hasegawa stating “What happens if I fall into the water?” Haruka Ayase then states “I will save you.” The film has Hiroki Hasegawa playing a professor, who can’t swim. Haruka Ayase plays a swimming instructor, who gets the professor to take swimming lessons.

The movie is based on novel “Hai, Oyogemasen” by Hidemine Takahashi and directed by Kensaku Watanabe (“Cheer Cheer Cheer!“). For Hiroki Hasegawa & Haruka Ayase, they previously worked together in 2013 NHK drama series “Yae no Sakura” as a married couple. The movie “Yes, I Can’t Swim” will have Hiroki Hasegawa play Yuji Takanashi. He is a professor that has a strong fear of water. He begins to take a swimming class taught by Shizuka Usuhara (Haruka Ayase).
