First script reading for OCN drama series “That Man Oh Soo” took place on November 27, 2017 and started around 1PM. Main cast members including Lee Jong-Hyun (‘CNBLUE’), Kim So-Eun, Kang Tae-Oh (‘5urprise’), Park Na-Ye, Lee Hye-Ran and Park Geun-Hyung attended. Before first script reading began, Lee Jong-Hyun stated “I hope it will be warm on the shooting set even though it is cold winter.”

Caption around the 20 second mark in the trailer states in Korean “She who died, comes back without any memories of her past,” which sums up the film pretty well. “Be With You” is based on 2003 Japanese novel “Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu” by Takuji Ichikawa.

First still images of Han Hye-Jin and Yoon Sang-Hyun in upcoming MBC drama series “Let’s Hold Hands Tightly And Watch The Sunset.” The still images are from the first day of filming which took place recently (mid-February, 2018) in Paju, South Korea. The weather on that day was quite cold with wind chill hitting -20 celsius. The scene has Nam Hyun-Joo (Han Hye-Jin) and Kim Do-Young (Yoon Sang-Hyun ) having a good time on their wedding anniversary day.

Cho Jung-Seok and Ryoo Joon-Yeol are cast in movie “Bbaengban” co-starring Kong Hyo-Jin. In the upcoming film, Ryoo Joon-Yeol will play Seo Min-Jae. He works on a hit-and-run investigation team with Eun Shi-Yeon (Kong Hyo-Jin). They try to take down former F1 race car driver and now businessman Jung Jae-Cheol (Cho Jung-Seok). In addition, Yum Jung-Ah, Jeon Hye-Jin and Key (‘SHINee’) are cast in supporting roles. Movie is directed by Han Jun-Hee (“Coin Locker Girl“). Filming for the movie will begin March, 2018 and the film will be released at a later date via Showbox.
Kim You-Jung, Choi Woo-Sik and Jung So-Min make cameo appearances in just released film “Golden Slumber.” Their cameo appearances were not announced until after the film’s release on February 14, 2018 as a nice surprise. Movie “Golden Slumber” is based on novel “Golden Slumber” by Kotaro Isaka. Story for the film follows delivery man Gun-Woo (Gang Dong-Won) who gets framed for the assassination of a presidential candidate. He then goes on the run.
For the cameo appearances, Kim You-Jung plays Soo-A. She is an idol singer and she is saved by Gun-Woo (Gang Dong-Won) from a dangerous situation. Choi Woo-Sik plays Joo-Hoo. He is the younger brother of Gun-Woo, but they are not blood related. Lastly, Jung So-Min plays Yoo-Mi. She is a friend of Gun-Woo, but she gets into a physical fight with Gun-Woo.
Trailer for upcoming Amazon drama series “Shiro to Kiiro: Hawaii to Watashi no Pancake Monogatari” starring Haruna Kawaguchi. The drama series is based on a true story and follows Natsumi Sawano (Haruna Kawaguchi) as she brings the concept of pancake restaurants from Hawaii to Japan.
“Shiro to Kiiro: Hawaii to Watashi no Pancake Monogatari” will be available to stream from February 28, 2018 in Japan.
Ryunosuke Kamiki is cast for the lead role in new NHK drama series “School Lawyer” (Yakeni Ben no Tatsu Bengoshi ga Gakko de Hoeru). In addition, Seiichi Tanabe, Yukino Kishii, Mari Hamada, Daikichi Sugawara, Kazuki Kosakai and Kaho Minami are cast in supporting roles for the drama series. For “School Lawyer,” Ryunosuke Kamiki will play rookie lawyer Shotaro Taguchi. His law office sends him to work at a middle school following a new school lawyer system. He then finds himself in the middle of a corporal punishment case.
“School Lawyer” first airs April 21, 2018 in Japan.
An epic first teaser trailer has been added for upcoming tvN drama series “Mr. Sunshine” starring Lee Byung-Hun, Kim Tae-Ri, Yoo Yeon-Seok and Byun Yo-Han. Around the 1:10 minute mark in the teaser trailer, Lee Byung-Hun’s voice over appears and he states “I am U.S. Marine Copes Captain Eugene Choi.” This is the first time his character name has been revealed. Additionally, actress Kim Sa-Rang was cast to play a major supporting character in the drama series, but she had to drop out due to scheduling issues. Actress Kim Min-Jung will now play that role.

Teaser trailer for movie “What A Wonderful Family! 3: My Wife, My Life” directed by Yoji Yamada. Movie is the third film in Yoji Yamada’s “What A Wonderful Family!” series which revolves around the Hirata family and its daily life problems. In “What A Wonderful Family! 3: My Wife, My Life,” housewife Fumie Hirata (Yui Natsukawa) becomes fed up with her insensitive husband Konosuke Hirata (Masahiko Nishimura) and leaves their home. The Hirata home goes into chaos without Fumie.
