Teaser trailer for movie “Yuki no Hana”

Teaser trailer for movie “Yuki no Hana” starring Hiroomi Tosaka and Ayami Nakajo. The title of the film “Yuki no Hana” was also revealed today for the first time. Story for the film is motivated by 2003 song “Yuki no Hana” by Mika Nakashima and that song also appears in the teaser trailer as the theme song. Filming for “Yuki no Hana” took place in Tokyo and the country of Finland from February to June, 2018. “Yuki no Hana” is directed by Kojiro Hashimoto.

“Yuki no Hana” will be released February, 2019 in Japan.

Park Jung-Min & Ryoo Seung-Bum cast in movie “Tazza 3”

Park Jung-Min & Ryoo Seung-Bum cast in sequel film “Tazza 3.” The film is based on comic “Tazza: One-Eyed Jack” illustrated by Huh Young-Man (the third comic in the “Tazza” series). Park Jung-Min will play the lead role of Do Il-Chool. He is a poker player and his father is Jjakgwi (played by Ju Jin-Mo in the 2006 film “Tazza: The High Rollers“). Ryoo Seung-Bum will play the character of “Aekku.” His name means literally one-eyed person. Movie will. be directed by Kwon Oh-Kwang (“Collective Invention“).

“Tazza 3” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Lovely Horribly”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Lovely Horribly” took place June 1, 2018 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea.  The first script reading were attended by main cast members including Park Si-HooSong Ji-HyoLee Gi-Kwang (‘Highlight’), Ham Eun-Jung (‘T-ara’), Choi Yeo-Jin and Jang Hyuk-Jin. Director Kang Min-Kyung stated prior to the start of the script reading, “I am really happy to work with such good people. I will try to do my best to have good results and make the process pleasant as well. Actor Ha Dong-Hoon, also known as Ha Ha, will make a cameo appearance in the drama series. He has worked with lead actress Song Ji-Hyo on variety show “Running Man” for 9 years.

“Lovely Horribly” will first air August, 2018 in South Korea.

SBS drama series “Wok of Love” shortened to 38 episodes

SBS has decided to shorten currently airing drama series “Wok of Love” from its originally planned 40 episodes to 38 episodes. The drama series will now end on July 17, 2018. Ep.25-26 did not air for 2 weeks because of television coverage of the summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The delays caused the drama series to run a week longer than originally planned and would have run two weeks longer if it was not shortened. “Wok of Love” stars Lee Joon-Ho, Jang Hyuk and Jung Ryeo-Won.

Kim Hyun-Joong offered lead role in drama series “That Time When Time Stops”

Kim Hyun-Joong has been offered the lead male role in new drama series “That Time When Time Stops” (literal title). Currently, Kim Hyun-Joong is considering the offer. If he accepts, he will play a time traveler who falls in love. Kim Hyun-Joong famously appeared as a co-lead actor in KBS2 drama series “Boys Over Flowers” and also played lead roles in MBC drama series “Mischievous Kiss” and KBS2 drama series “Inspiring Generation.”

Although no final decision has been made, MBC Dramanet is in discussions to air the drama series.
