Kim Sun-A is cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Red Moon Blue Sun” (literal title) co-starring Lee Yi-Kyung. Kim Sun-A will play lead female character Cha Woo-Kyung in the drama series. Cha Woo-Kyung works as a child counselor and she is also a good wife and mother. Her life seems perfect, but she gets involved in a mysterious case that takes place continuously.
“Red Moon Blue Sun” will first air November, 2018 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot after “Terius Behind Me“).

The drama series is based on novel “Kokou no Mesu: Gekai Toma Tetsuhiko“ by Roran Takayama and follows 2010 film “A Lone Scalpel” which is also based on the same novel. Drama series “A Lone Scalpel” will consist of 8 episodes and air on Sundays at 10PM.
Lim Ju-Hwan is cast in a major supporting role for MBC drama series “Different Dreams” starring Lee Yo-Won and Yoo Ji-Tae. Lim Ju-Hwan will play second leading male character Fukuda. His characer is a Japanese prosecutor. Fukada is scripted as being handsome, gentle and in love with Lee Young-Jin (Lee Yo-Won).

Ep.1 air date for KBS W drama series “That Time When Time Stops” (literal title) is now set for Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11 PM. “That Time When Time Stops” stars Kim Hyun-Joong, An Ji-Hyun and In Gyo-Jin. The drama series will air as a pre-production (filming completed prior to airing). In the drama series, Kim Hyun-Joong plays a man able to stop time.
Ryo Narita and Yuina Kuroshima are cast for the lead roles in movie “Katsuben!” The film is written and directed by Masayuki Suo. Ryo Narita and Yuina Kuroshima were cast for the movie after going through auditions that took place for 3 months and involved about 100 applicants for the lead male role and 100 applicants for the lead female role. Also cast in supporting roles are Masatoshi Nagase, Kengo Kora, Mao Inoue, Takuma Otoo, Yutaka Takenouchi, Naoto Takenaka, Eri Watanabe and Fumiyo Kohinata. Story for “Katsuben!” is set at a silent movie theater about 100 years ago.

Lee Jong-Suk is cast in new tvN drama series “Romance is a Bonus Book” (literal title). For the drama series, Lee Jong-Suk will play lead male character Cha Eun-Ho. He is a genius writer and the youngest chief editor ever at a publishing company. Cha Eun-Ho is also cool-headed at work, but has a warm heart and reasonable personality. Lee Jong-Suk stated “I like the work of screenwriter Jung Hyun-Jung and director Lee Jung-Hyo, so I am happy to work with them. Romantic-comedy genre is also a first for me, so I am looking forward to it a lot.” Story for the drama series will be set around a publishing company and follow people who publish books.
“Romance is a Bonus Book” will first air sometime during the first half of 2019 in South Korea.
