Main trailer for live-action film “Ibuki 192”

Main trailer for live-action film “Ibuki 192” starring Hidetoshi Nishijima and Kuranosuke Sasaki. Movie is based on manga series “Kuubo Ibuki” by Kaiji Kawaguchi and directed by Setsuro Wakamatsu (“The Unbroken“). The film takes place over a 24 hour period and deals with an invasion by unknown forces upon an island in Japan. Ibuki Carrier is deployed to the area.

“Ibuki 192” is now set for release May 24, 2019 in Japan.

Chang Ki-Yong & Chansung to make cameos in tvN drama series “Touch Your Heart”

Chang Ki-Yong and Chansung (2PM) will make cameo appearances in upcoming tvN drama series “Touch Your Heart” starring Yoo In-Na and Lee Dong-Wook. For Chang Ki-Yong, his cameo appearance will take place in episode 1 and below are still images of his cameo appearance. Chang Ki-Yong accepted the cameo appearance at the request of director Park Joon-Hwa. For his cameo appearance, Chang Ki-Yong will play a top actor and he is performing a scene with actress Oh Yoon-Seo (Yoo In-Na). For Changsung, his cameo will appearance will take place in episode 4. He will play a man that Moon-Hee (Park Kyung-Hye) likes.

“Touch Your Heart” first airs February 6, 2019 in South Korea.

Trailer added for movie “Kimi wa Tsukiyo ni Hikarikagayaku” starring Mei Nagano and Takumi Kitamura. Movie is based on novel “Kimi wa Tsukiyo ni Hikarikagayaku” by Tetsuya Sano. The teaser trailer has Park Ha-Na as Yoon Ma-Ri slowly disrobing in front of Ji Hyun-Woo as plastic surgeon Seo Jung-Won. Park Ha-Na and Park Han-Byul play the same character of Yoon Ma-Ri.

“Love in Sadness” first airs Saturday, February 23, 2019 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Saturday 9 PM time slot after “A Pledge To God.”).

Tori Matsuzaka and Mizuki Yamamoto cast in live-action Fuji TV drama series “Perfect World”

Tori Matsuzaka and Mizuki Yamamoto are cast in live-action Fuji TV drama series “Perfect World.” The drama series is based on manga series manga series “Perfect World” by Rie Aruga. Last year, a movie version of “Perfect World” was released starring Takanori Iwata and Hana Sugisaki. In the drama series version, Tori Matsuzaka will play architect Itsuki Ayukawa. An accident in his university days left him paralyzed below the waist and now permanently wheelchair bound. He meets his former high classmate Tsugumi Kawana (Mizuki Yamamoto).

“Perfect World” first airs April, 2019 in Japan.

Han Ji-Min & Jung Hae-In cast in MBC drama series “Spring Night”

Han Ji-Min & Jung Hae-In are cast in new MBC drama series “Spring Night” (literal title). Actress Son Ye-Jin was first offered the lead female role, but she declined. If she would have accepted, Son Ye-Jin and Jung Hae-In would have been leads again after starring together in 2018 JTBC drama series “Something in the Rain.” Instead, Han Ji-Min will play lead female character Lee Jung-In. She works as a librarian and is thinking about marrying her longtime boyfriend.

“Spring Night” will first air May, 2019 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot after after “The Banker.”).
