Hiromitsu Kitayama cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Million Joe”

Hiromitsu Kitayama (‘Kis-My-Ft2’) is cast for the lead role in new TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Million Joe.” In the drama series, Hiromitsu Kitayama will play magazine editor Soichi Kurei. He is devastated when a manga writer dies before finishing a manga series that he is working on and he comes up with an idea. The drama series is based on manga series “Million Joe” by writer Ryoji Toguchi & illustrator Iroha Ichimaru. Hideo Sakaki & Keisuke Shibata will direct the drama series.

“Million Joe” will first air October, 2019 in Japan (takes over TV Tokyo’s Wednesday 1:35 AM time slot after “Soaking Wet Private Detective Hagoromo Mizuno“).

Teaser trailer #3 added for SBS drama series “Doctor John” starring Ji Sung and Lee Se-Young. Teaser trailer #3 features footage from the drama series for the first time. First script reading for OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell”

First script reading for upcoming OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell” (literal title), starring Im Si-Wan and Lee Dong-Wook, took place April, 2019 in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Im Si-Wan, Lee Dong-Wook, Lee Jung-Eun, Lee Hyun-Wook, Park Jong-Hwan, Lee Joong-Ok, Hyun Bong-Sik, Ahn Eun-Jin, Kim Ji-Eun and Cha Rae-Hyoung attended the first script reading. The drama series is set at a low cost apartment complex. New tenant Yoon Jong-Woo (Im Si-Wan) begins to live there and it’s like hell for me.

“Strangers From Hell” is now set to first air August, 2019 in South Koera.

Teaser #5 added for MBC drama series “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung” starring Shin Se-Kyung and Cha Eun-Woo. For international fans, the drama series will available on Netflix with each episode appearing to stream about 1 hour from when it airs live in South Korea. For fans in Japan, the drama series will be available to stream from September 20, 2019 with all 20 episodes available to stream from that day. The rest of the world will have two episodes to stream on Netflix each Saturday from July 27, 2019.

3 Character teaser trailers added for KBS2 drama series “Justice” starring Choi Jin-Hyuk, Son Hyun-Joo and Nana. Son Hyun-Joo as Song Woo-Yong’s character teaser trailer starts off with him stating “Human beings’ good nature is exposed in front of fear.” Nana as Seo Yeon-A’s character teaser trailer has her voice appearing around the 14 second mark and she states “I learnt the truth, so as a prosecutor I can’t ignore that.” Choi Jin-Hyuk as Lee Tae-Kyung’s character teaser trailer has his voice appearing around the 12 second mark and he asks “Do you expect something like a sense of justice from me?”

Yosuke Sugino & Haruka Fukuhara are cast in live-action film “Love and Murder of Sheep and Wolf.” Movie is based on manga series “Ana Satsujin” by Rahson and directed by Kayoko Asakura (“It’s a Beautiful Day“). In the film, Yosuke Sugino plays a hikkimori who falls in love with his next door neighbor played by Haruka Fukuhara. The girl could possibly be a killer. Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer for the film has been added on AsianWiki and here are the first 6 still images for the film.
