Jung Hae-In and Chae Soo-Bin are cast in tvN drama series “Half of a Half” (literal title). The drama series resides in the romance genre, with Jung Hae-In playing AI programmer Ha Won and Chae Soo-Bin playing a music recording engineer. Lee Sang-Yeob (“Familiar Wife“) and scripted by Lee Sook-Yun (“On the Way to the Airport“).

First teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “When the Camellia Blooms” starring Kong Hyo-Jin and Kang Ha-Neul. The drama series marks the return of actor Kang Ha-Neul after he completed his mandatory military service requirement. Teaser trailer #1 begins with the soundtrack of The Knack’s “My Sharona” and Kang Ha-Neul stating to Kong Hyo-Jin’s character “If you like, go straight. Dong-Baek.” At the 23 second mark, Kong Hyo-Jin asks “Would you like to have peanuts?” At the 27 second mark, Kang Ha-Neul replies “What… peanuts?”
“When the Camellia Blooms” is now scheduled to first air September 18, 2019 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday & Thursday 10 PM time slot after “Justice.”).
Kaho and Satoshi Tsumabuki are cast in movie “Red.” The film is based on 2014 novel “Red” by Rio Shimamoto. 2017 movie “Narratage,” starring Jun Matsumoto and Kasumi Arimura, is also based on a novel by Rio Shimamoto. Story for “Red” will follow two ex-lovers who meet for the first time in 10 years and have an affair. Filming for “Red” is currently ongoing in the suburbs of Kanto and Niigata. Filming is scheduled to finish August, 2019. Movie is directed by Yukiko Mishima (“Bread of Happiness“).
“Red” will be released February, 2020 in Japan.

Sayu Kubota is cast in movie “30 Minutes Until Goodbye” (literal title) co-starring Mackenyu Arata and Takumi Kitamura. In the film, Sayu Kuboto will play Kana Murase. She was the girlfriend of Aki Miyata (Mackenyu Arata) and also played the keyboards in his band. A mysterious cassette tape allows Aki Miyata’s spirit to take over the body of Sota Kubota (Takumi Kitamura) for 30 minutes. Movie is directed by Kentaro Hagiwara and scripted by Satomi Oshima.
