Main trailer added for live-action film “Miyamoto kara Kimi e” starring Sosuke Ikematsu and Yu Aoi. Movie is based on manga series “Miyamoto kara Kimi e” by Hideki Arai and follows 2018 TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Miyamoto kara Kimi e.” Meanwhile, the main trailer reveals the movie’s theme song which is “Do you remember?” by Hiroji Miyamoto.

Movie is based on comic “Tazza: One-Eyed Jack” illustrated by Huh Young-Man and a sequel to movie “Tazza: The High Rollers.” Meanwhile, below are the first batch of still images from the movie. Teaser trailer added for OCN drama series “The Running Mates: Human Rights” starring Lee Yo-Won, Choi Gwi-Hwa and Jang Hyun-Sung. At the 2 second mark of the teaser, has Lee Yo-Won’s voice appears and she asks “Is this the place where there are no human rights?” At the 5 second mark, Choi Gwi-Hwa states “I hear! Teaser trailer for movie “Battle of Jangsari”

First teaser trailer added for movie “Battle of Jangsari” starring Kim Myung-Min & Minho (‘SHINee’). The film depicts the true story of the “Battle of Jangsari” which took place during the Korean War. Movie is directed by Kwak Kyung-Taek, & Kim Tae-Hoon. Caption in the teaser trailer states in Korean (0:10) “Battle of Inchon D-1,” (0:14) “Secret operation which was unrecorded,” (0:19) “Average age 17-years-old,” (0:23) “Training period just 2 weeks,” (0:27) “772 students,” (0:41) “They were there,” (0:52) “Nobody could say success, but,” (0:57) “None of them gave up.”

Meanwhile, Minho enlisted with the South Korean Marine Corps on April 15, 2019 and he will be discharged November 15, 2020.

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “The Great Show” starring Song Seung-Heon and Lee Sun-Bin. Around the 8 second mark of the teaser trailer, Song Seung-Heon’s voice appears and he states in Korean “If a member of the National Assembly is defeated in an election, that person is not even a human being.” Meanwhile below are first still images of Song Seung-Heon, Lee Sun-Bin, Lim Ju-Hwan and Roh Jeong-Eui in the drama series. The still images of Roh Jeong-Eui has her in a scene where she works at a gas station. This scene was filmed in the hot Korean summer with temperatures around 98°f.

Takumi Saito & Masataka Kubota cast in NTV drama special “Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa 2019”

Takumi Saito and Masataka Kubota are cast in NTV drama special “Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa 2019.” The drama special precedes Hulu sequel drama series “Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa Season 2” which will be available to stream after the NTV drama special. Both titles follow 2016 NTV drama series “Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa” and they are based on 1992 novel “Himura Hideo Series” by Arisu Arisugawa. For the drama special, Takumi Saito will reprise his role of criminologist Hideo Himura and Masataka Kubota will reprise his role of mystery writer Arisu Arisugawa.

“Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa 2019” is scheduled to air sometime during autumn, 2019 in Japan.

Yoon Si-Yoon, Jung In-Sun & Park Sung-Hoon cast in tvN drama series “Psychopath Diary”

Yoon Si-Yoon, Jung In-Sun and Park Sung-Hoon are cast in tvN drama series “Psychopath Diary.” The drama series is a mystery-thriller involving temporary amnesia, a serial killer and set at an office in a stock trading company. Yoon Si-Yoon will play meek stock trading company employee Yook Dong-Sik. Jung In-Sun will play Police Officer Sim Bo-Kyung. She accidentally hits Yook Dong-Sik with her car, which causes him to lose his memory. He then mistakenly believes he is a serial killer. Park Sung-Hoon will play stock trading company director Seo In-Woo. He is the real serial killer.

“Psychopath Diary” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Ahn Jae-Hyeon and Oh Yeon-Seo are cast in MBC drama series “People with Flaws” (literal title). For the drama series, Ahn Jae-Hyeon will play lead male character Lee Kang-Woo. He is a handsome guy, but self-absorbed after being dumped in his past for being ugly. Oh Yeon-Seo will play lead female character Joo Seo-Yeon. She doesn’t like handsome guys due to trouble she experienced by having 3 handsome brothers.

“People with Flaws” first airs November, 2019 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday & Thursday 9PM time slot after “Ha-Roo Found by Chance“).

Yuya Yagira & Min Tanaka cast in biopic film “Hokusai”

Yuya Yagira and Min Tanaka are cast in biopic film “Hokusai.” The film is based on the life of 19th century artist Katsushika Hokusa and directed by Hajime Hashimoto (“Aibou: X-Day“). Below is an image of Katsushika Hokusa’s iconic woodblock print “The Great Wave off Kanagawa.” For the film, Yuya Yagira will play Katsushika Hokusa as a young man and Min Tanaka will play Katsushika Hokusa in his older days. Also cast in supporting roles for the film are Hiroshi Abe, Eita and Hiroshi Tamaki.

“Hokusai” will be released summer, 2020 in Japan.
