First script reading for MBC drama series “The Game: Towards Zero”

First script reading for MBC drama series “The Game: Towards Zero” (literal title), starring TaecYeon, Lee Yeon-Hee, and Lim Ju-Hwan, took place recently at MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. Main cast members that attended the first script reading included TaecYeon, Lee Yeon-Hee, Lim Ju-Hwan, Jeong Dong-Hwan, Park Ji-Il, Park Won-Sang, Jang So-Yeon, Choi Jae-Woong, Ryoo Hye-Rin, Shin Sung-Min and Yang Hyun-Min. Director Jang Joon-Ho and screenwriter Lee Ji-Hyo were also in attendance. Director Jang Joon-Ho stated at the script reading that after seeing everyone in the room together, he feels confident about the show’s success. The drama series will revolved around Prophet Kim Tae-Pyeong (TaecYeon ) and Detective Seo Joon-Young (Lee Yeon-Hee). They search for the truth behind a serial murderer.

“The Game: Towards Zero” is set to first air January 22, 2020 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday & Thursday 9PM time slot after “Love With Flaws“).

Main trailer and poster added for movie “The Phone of The Wind” starring Serena Motola, Hidetoshi Nishijima, & Tomokazu Miura. Movie is inspired by the true story of a man who placed a telephone booth in his garden. The location became a destination for those grieving over lost ones from the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. The screenplay follows young woman Haru (Serena Motola) as she travels from Hiroshima to Iwate Prefecture. It’s 8 years after she lost her family in the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.

Jo Bo-Ah offered lead female role in tvN drama series “Tale of The Nine-Tailed Fox”

Jo Bo-Ah has been offered the lead female role in tvN drama series “Tale of The Nine-Tailed Fox” (literal title). Lee Dong-Wook has already received an offer to play the lead male role. Both performers are currently “positively considering” their offers. The fantasy themed drama series will have Jo Bo-Ah (if she accepts her offer) play Nam Ji-A. She works as a television PD and she chases a story on the nine-tailed fox.

Here’s the first still images of Ko Soo in upcoming tvN drama series “Money Game” also co-starring Lee Sung-Min & Shim Eun-Kyung. In the drama series, Ko Soo plays economic bureaucrat Chae Yi-Hun. He tries to carry out his duties as best as possible, even though the country teeters on the verge of bankruptcy. Filming of the drama series began summer, 2019 and filming is already passed the half way point.

Movie is based on 2018 novel “Sumaho o Otoshita dake nanoni: Toraware no Satsujinki” by Akira Shiga and is a sequel to 2018 film “Stolen Identity.” The theme song for the movie has been revealed, which is “Doron” by Japanese pop-rock band King Gnu.
