Movie is the latest work from award winning director Park Chan-Wook (“Oldboy“) and based on U.S. novel “The Ax” by Donald E. Westlake. Teaser trailer 2 added for JTBC drama series “My Youth” starring Song Joong-Ki & Chun Woo-Hee. Teaser trailer 2 focuses on two major supporting characters played by Lee Joo-Myoung and Seo Ji-Hoon. Lee Joo-Myoung plays Mo Tae-Rin, who is an actress and began her acting career as a child. Seo Ji-Hoon plays Kim Seok-Joo. He is a tax accountant and the first love of Mo Tae-Rin.

Teaser trailer 2 for MBN drama series “First Lady”

Teaser trailer 2 added for MBN drama series “First Lady” starring Eugene, Ji Hyun-Woo, & Lee Min-Young. In “First Lady,” Eugene plays Cha Soo-Yeon, who is set to become the first lady of South Korea when her husband Hyun Min-Cheol (Ji Hyun-Woo) will be inaugurated as the president in 67 days. Hyun Min-Cheol suddenly asks for a divorce from Cha Soo-Yeon. Teaser trailer 2 has dialogue that starts with Eugene stating “What I want is half of everything he has gotten because of me,” followed by (0:05) anonymous voice “What you’re talking about is the president,” and (0:07) Eugene “It’s me that created the president. Then, half of the president’s share should be mine.”  Captions in the teaser video states (0:19) “Breathtaking divorce war to protect a perfect life” and (0:31) “Conspiracy and the truth surrounding them.”

Announcement teaser trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Genie, Make a Wish” starring Kim Woo-Bin & Bae Suzy. The drama series will see Kim Woo-Bin and Bae Suzy reuniting after starring together in 2016 KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond.” Story for “Genie, Make a Wish” follows a genie (Kim Woo-Bin), who wakes up after a thousand years, and meets Ga-Young (Bae Suzy). The genie grants her three wishes.

“Genie, Make a Wish” is now set to be released October 3, 2025 via Netflix.

Hidetoshi Nishijima cast in movie “Sonzai no Subete wo”

Hidetoshi Nishijima is cast for the lead role in movie “Sonzai no Subete wo.” Movie is based on 2023 novel “Sonzai no Subete wo” by Takeshi Shiota (“The Voice of Sin“) and directed by Takahisa Zeze (“One Last Bloom“). In the upcoming movie, Hidetoshi Nishijima will play reporter Jiro Monden. About 30 years ago, he covered an unsolved child kidnapping case. In the present day, he looks into the case again after the death of a detective.

“Sonzai no Subete wo” will be released sometime in 2027.

Yo Oizumi cast in TV Asahi drama “Just a bit Espers.”

Yo Oizumi is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Just a bit Espers.” The original sci-fi romance screenplay is written by Akiko Nogi (“MIU 404“) and directed by Yoshiaki Murao (“Trillion Game“) & Daiden Yamauchi (“What a Wonderful World“). Yo Oizumi will play a man named Bunta in the drama series. He has some psychic abilities and his life hits rock bottom after he loses his office job. He then gets hired by a mysterious company and his job is to save the world.

“Just a bit Espers’ first airs October, 2025 in Japan (takes over TV Asahi’s Tuesday 9PM time slot after “The Kidnapping Day“).

Teaser poster and air date set for MBC drama series “To The Moon” starring Lee Sun-Bin, Ra Mi-Ran, Jo A-Ram, and Kim Young-Dae. Drama series is based on 2021 novel “Dalggaji Gaja” by Jang Ryu-Jin. Caption on the launching poster states “Life changing digital coin trade ride.” The three female leads play contract workers at a confectionery company. Main trailer and poster added for Disney+ drama series “Tempest” starring Gianna Jun & Gang Dong-Won. For “Tempest,” actor Gang Dong-Won makes his first appearance in a drama series since 2004 SBS drama series “Magic.” Caption for the poster states “Whom will I trust, what will I protect?” The screenplay has actress Gianna Jun playing diplomat Moon-Joo. She investigates an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. Gang Dong-Won plays mysterious figure San-Ho. He works to protect Moon-Joo at this time. Dialogue in the trailer starts with Gianna Jun asking (0:03) “Who are you?” and (0:08) “How come you came to me?” The trailer ends with Gang Dong-Won stating (1:34) “Don’t trust me,” (1:37) “I’ll just stay behind you,” (1:40) “Always.”

Date announcement teaser trailer and teaser poster added for Netflix distributed movie “Good News” starring Sul Kyung-Gu, Hong Kyung, & Ryoo Seung-Bum. The action-thriller film, directed by Byun Sung-Hyun (“Kill Boksoon“), is set in 1970 and revolves around a hijacked airplane. The airplane departs from Japan’s Haneda Airport, but is hijacked by a group that wants the plane to land in Pyongyang, North Korea. Lots of problems arise for the hijackers as well as for the people brought in to bring the hostages to safety. Caption on the teaser poster statesa “A lie that could have been great.”

“Good News” will be available to stream from October 17, 2025 in South Korea.

Release date for movie “Emergency Interrogation Room: The Final”

Release date updated for movie “Emergency Interrogation Room: The Final” starring Yuki Amami, Tetsushi Tanaka, & Mokomichi Hayami. The movie is now scheduled for release December 26, 2025 in Japan. Meanwhile, prior to the movie’s release, TV Asahi will air a 5th season of “Emergency Interrogation Room” from October, 2025. The 4th season, which aired in 2021, ended with the special investigation team Kintori disbanding, but the 5th season will have the team reuniting. The team is led by self-made interrogator Yukiko Makabe (Yuki Amami) as she engages in a back-and-forth psychological battle with dangerous criminals.
