Tasuku Emoto and Ken Watanabe are cast in movie “Kobikicho no Adauchi.” In addition, the first two teaser posters have been released for the film. The movie is based on 2023 novel “Kobikicho no Adauchi” by Sayako Nagai, which won the 169th Naoki Prize in 2023, and directed by Takashi Minamoto (“Tokyo Tower“). The mystery film is set during the Edo period and revolves around a killing that was purported to be a revenge murder.

“Kobikicho no Adauchi” will be released February 27, 2026.

Kang Tae-Oh and Kim Se-Jeong are cast in MBC drama series “The Moon Flows In This River” (literal title). Also cast for major supporting character roles are Lee Sin-Young, Hong Su-Zu, & Jin Goo. The drama series will feature a romantic-fantasy period drama, with Kang Tae-Oh playing Crown Prince Lee Kang and Kim Se-Jeong playing Peddler Park Dal-Yi. They happen to get their souls swapped.

First teaser poster added for tvN drama series “Typhoon Family” starring Lee Joon-Ho & Kim Min-Ha. The teaser poster also reveals that “Typhoon Family” will first air October 11, 2025 in South Korea. “Typhoon Family” will slot into tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9:20 PM time period after the conclusion of “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.” The teaser poster features Lee Joon-Ho as Kang Tae-Poong. Teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “Last Samurai Standing” starring Junichi Okada and Yumia Fujisaki. Drama series is based on novels “Ikusagami Ten” and “Ikusagami Ji” by Shogo Imamura. The story revolves around 292 samurais who assemble at a Kyoto temple at night. They are given wooden tags and informed that they can participate in a game with a large prize. They are to seize the tags of the other players by any means necessary. Newly announced cast members include Gaku Hamada, Taiiku Okazaki, Arata Iura, Tetsushi Tanaka and Ayumu Nakajima.

Yukiya Kitamura & Yukie Nakama are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Chiisai Koro wa, Kamisama ga Ite.” The heart warming comedy-drama series is scripted by Yoshikazu Okada (“Second To Last Love“) and directed by Mai Sakai (“We Don’t Know Love Yet“). For “Chiisai Koro wa, Kamisama ga Ite,” Yukiya Kitamura & Yukie Nakama will play a married couple. Around 19 years ago, they promised they would divorce when their child becomes 20 years old. The husband believes that promise was made as a joke, while the wife has held on to the promise.

So Matsushima and Jin Shirasu are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan.” Drama series is based on manga series “Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan” by Yuu Toyota. Both lead male actors will play single fathers, who move into together to help each other raise their child. So Matsushima will play Tetsu Sengoku. He suddenly becomes a single father after his ex-girlfriend appears and leaves her daughter with him, while informing him that she is his daughter.
